Yes! I'm sure there's a better way, but at the time I put a null object on each corner of each letter and would use those to rotate and bounce the letters based on which corner hit the step.
That’s so awesome !! I wish I could do those things as well. How did you learn to do all of these? Any recommendations how I can get some knowledge to do the same ? Love your work !
Thank you for the compliments! I did all of this in After Effects and Adobe Illustrator. There are some nice tutorials on how to use those programs on youtube, but beyond that, I really taught myself most of what I know regarding the programs. I did go to University to study animation, so a lot of the principles of motion used are those I've become familiar with over time as well as what I learned there. A great place to start with that is looking up the 13 principles of animation on youtube and watching those videos!
I've been making this same video in after effects as an assignment by teacher, but can't even make it through 20 seconds properly 🥲 which software you used bro 😭
That is a roughen attribute added to each path to which I tied the keyframes from the audio waveform! I then stacked the two colors and offset the roughen a little so they wouldn't overlap.
The letters falling are keyframe animated using nulls on each corner of the letters! Takes a long time, but its worth it for the result. Stick around and I might make a tutorial on how to do it!
I honestly just really love the color choices
Thank you! It felt very appropriate for the song
@@Benlords choosing colors for any kind of project is honestly the best part, when you get the right combo it just feels great
@@demmybane I COMPLETELY agree!
Great work! Awesome visualization!
Appreciate it!
Very cool, loving it
did you hand animate the letters bouncing down the steps at 0:15?

Benlo thankyou for answering😁
@@tangerinefiles Of course! Anytime
nice bro, great job
I appreciate it!
whats app you use? 🥺
Adobe After Effects and Illustrator! I make all the artwork in Illustrator, then transfer it to After Effects and do the animation there.
how much time does it take you to make something like this?
Depends on the complexity, something like this would probably take about 40-60 hours for this length
Omg
Can you please recommend some UA-cam channel to learn this?
Kinda finding it difficult to get a tutorial that blends kinetic typography with images
hi, what is the effects that you use in 0:17? i love that thxs
