It doesn't have to be a political science debate on economics of the free market. Any fan of MMA should support higher fighter pay because it will bring more talent and entertainment to the sport. Right now all the best talent goes to other sports that not only pay more, but are safer.
Tbh 10k and 10k *should* be criminal. I get UFC has a new habit of not creating stars, having fights filled with garbage cards every weekend, and a lot of the roster is no names now, but I make twice that in a month when I'm working, and I'm not in the premier fight league in the world getting brain damage. It's crazy how low that is. Youd have to fight five times to even make the median wage in the US/Canada
You deserve far more than 200,000 subscribers and if you keep doing what you do you will be looking at a lot more people subscribing and viewing your content. Good stuff dude!
You reckon he made over a Million for Dricus fight?? When CSAC released actual pay figures for UFC 298 that really exposed how low fighter pay really is.
@@Skiftlykickly123 I think they're giving the shot to Strickland. Wouldn't be shocked if Khamzat fell conveniently ill again before the fight. I hope Whittaker beats the shit out of him if they do fight.
Ufc: damage is the number one scoring criteria. Ddp: "i had to crawl to the bathroom for a week". Sean: hey nina, lets go snowboarding. Ddp's face was visibly beaten and bruised, and he could barely walk for a week after the fight. Meanwhile sean was virtually unscathed minus a cut that you could barely see the next day. Sean won that fight hands down, especially the 5th round which is always an important round to win in a "close" fight so the judges can see who's fading and who's ultimately more dominant.
Nice to see you uploading more. You are SO MUCH more talented than many bigger channels. Once the algorithm gets rolling, you’ll be huge. I appreciate your takes, because you’re an adult. A lot of kids and dummies in this space putting out mediocre content. Keep up the good work.
I'm pretty sure most of the fighters on the BKFC roster that actually earn way more than UFC champions, are all former UFC fighters. They are making that much due to the fact they came from the UFC. So, under those circumstances, it's easy to see why they are earning more because of where they came from. Dana likes to call the UFC an opportunity, not a career, and the guys who actually get out of their UFC contract can find more success in terms of income outside the promotion. The only issue is, the UFC tend to hold most of their fighters hostage under contract for as long as they can, these fighters start to age, get removed from their prime, finally get released, and their window of opportunity outside of the promotion is short lived, due to the fact most of them are at the end of their careers and prime. The UFC needs to get rid of it's PPV model, it's dated. More than half of their fan base is illegally streaming their events which deflates their viewing numbers and you're not getting an accurate representation of just how many people are tuning in for these fighters, which in return lowers the value of the fighters contract negotiations because the UFC now has leverage to say you're not pushing the needle enough to justify a large pay bump. These events need to be more accessible, and fewer paywalls, if any. The only people really benefiting from the PPV model in the UFC is the organization itself. A lot of people say Sean O'Malley's fan base is mostly teens and stoners who are not paying to watch him fight, but instead finding it for free, so it makes you wonder just how many people would actually be tuning into these events if the paywall was removed. They need national TV deals and better streaming arrangements.
MMW. I absolutely love this channel!!!! We need to talk about the judging in the UFC. There is highway robberies happening on a regular basis. Though Strickland against Dricus wasn't per say a highway robbery. It was still an obvious robbery. But there are other far worse decisions being dulled out in the UFC on a pretty regular basis. Almost every numbered card has a bad decision on it.

It doesn't have to be a political science debate on economics of the free market.
Any fan of MMA should support higher fighter pay because it will bring more talent and entertainment to the sport.
Right now all the best talent goes to other sports that not only pay more, but are safer.
Love all the new content lately!
Great to see regular uploads again.
Great video, wishing you the best of success, and Sean in his career.
👍 Appreciate the hustle. I admire your dedication and skillful presentation.
You've been fucking busy mate.
Good to see you back and so consistantly
You deserve far more than 200,000 subscribers and if you keep doing what you do you will be looking at a lot more people subscribing and viewing your content. Good stuff dude!
You reckon he made over a Million for Dricus fight?? When CSAC released actual pay figures for UFC 298 that really exposed how low fighter pay really is.
Damn, Mixed Molly been hooking us up with these uploads
He was already #1 contender before the Costa fight, so he definitely deserves it.
He fought whittakers leftovers
Disagree. He needs another win especially if Rob beats Chimaev
@@Skiftlykickly123 I think they're giving the shot to Strickland. Wouldn't be shocked if Khamzat fell conveniently ill again before the fight. I hope Whittaker beats the shit out of him if they do fight.
Another upload LFG. Keep the content coming brooo
Doing great work as always MMW!
Loving the regular drops!!!
LOVE your stuff man. 1 of a kind content.
All your videos are gold.
For the algorithm mate
Nice to see you uploading more. You are SO MUCH more talented than many bigger channels. Once the algorithm gets rolling, you’ll be huge. I appreciate your takes, because you’re an adult. A lot of kids and dummies in this space putting out mediocre content. Keep up the good work.
Love the new content bro
Another 10/10 video man please keep it up
I’m not convinced he made 1 million fighting Dricus. Ngannou got payed like 600k to fight Gane. There’s no fucking way Sean made more than that.
Keep em coming mate!
This chanel bout to take over!
Love your channel. Keep up the great work
Appreciate all the great content
Mollywhap thank you for more vids!
