I've been using the curve tool in ON1 to enhance contrast, occasionally using the color selector to target. specific color range, but haven't really experimented with multiple control points to create localized "S-curve" regions. Thanks,

I always open Curves, hit my "J" key and use the white point to reduce any clipping if I need to when starting an edit and I use the Black point to see a tiny bit of the black clipping. I always forget that Red/Green/Blue are there😆. This video is jolting my brain - let's hope it sticks! If you use Curves, it is less likely we need to use the other sliders - or is Curves a great starting point and just tweak the other sliders "to taste"? If you use Curves will you NOT have to touch the Blacks & Whites slider for example? As you go wild experimenting in this video you are showing us to "do what you want until you see what you like" - is that accurate?

You can do any of the above. There is no right or wrong as long as you get a result you're happy with. I just show what's possible to get your brain thinking about it!
