We watched the eclipse at the spillway and it made the event even more magical with the light sparkling off the lake like diamonds. Nice video. Two mounds are indeed under the lake.
nice production. Back in the day, 40+ years ago, they marketed the phrase “where the ducks walk on the fishes’ backs”. Never could find much hiking there, but it was/is a good place to camp. We also rode bikes around the whole lake, shortest route was around 45 miles. Boaters, fishing, too.
Growing up here n leaving cause yanno life happens, I forget how really beautiful it was. Missed a few good spots like the old railroad tracks near the spillway where there's a pretty decent swimming hole, good times lol
That’s why I like making these videos, a lot of folks say they’re too old now to get out and hike trails and it helps take them back so I always thought that was motivational to make these. There is so much to do in that state park I had to pick a few spots so the video wouldn’t be an hour long lol, def gonna go back and make a part two
How fantastic shooting n captures! Feel the wonders n beauty of nature through your great film. Lots of thanks for showing such marvelous scenery Happy New Year, my fren. ✨✨🔔
Thank you for displaying the wonderfulness of Pymatuning. I love it so much I retired here. There happens to be a great photographer with your last name that lives a couple blocks away from me. Coincidence?
So your channel is growing. We met the day you were at the spillway and you gave me some stickers. I subscribed the day I got home. Great video. I've been waited to see it. The only thing you left out was the meaning of "Pymatuning". It's Delaware Indian for "Man who speaks with crooked mouth" or "White man speaks with forked tongue" or something close to this. I have seen a number of different translations but they all basically mean "man who lies". To bad the wildlife museum was closed. They have a sign with the translation and a nice short nature path. The hatchery is also a great place to visit with their 2 story fish tank but it's been closed since Covid also.
What a great comment great to hear you enjoyed the video, I was actually on planning to do the hatchery and nature trail as I’ve done them numerous times before but I didn’t want the video to end up being an hour long so I’ll be making the trip back up one of these days to make another episode. Thanks for the support Dan, might cya around up there again !
Some GREAT fishing in that lake. Thanks for giving us a tour…some of these Ohio/PA State Parks are very underrated, especially in the autumn and winter.
@@BlueLineAdventures I’ve fished up there all my life actually used to kayak pretty frequently up there at one point. Maybe we’ll run into each other one day up that way
Thank you for the great tour in this state park. Its nice to see whats going on on the other side of the US! Sending my complete support to you, +1 sub, +1 like 👍🌸💚🌞
Awesome footage ! I'm jealous to see some green on the screen, because it's freezing here in Amsterdam and all the leaves from trees have fallen in November. If you've been to a park a hundred times, it really must be your favorite ☺
I feel you on the coldness, I did this video a few months ago so it was def a bit warmer then. Right now we have snow and it’s 9 degree F here in Pittsburgh so I know the pain!
Perfect video fantastic perfect editing

Enjoyed this episode. Always fun to follow along 👍
Thanks for tagging along
Never heard of this - looks awesome to explore! Love the stonework!
The stonework is so 1930's and is indeed beautiful. Today, I'm sure it would all be concrete and not have that charm.
Beautiful place...used to go up often when I was little. Enjoyed the video, thanks for sharing ~ Tracee
Thanks for watching tracee it’s one of my favorite places

Can’t agree more, thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Probably will be doing a fishing trip up there come spring!
@@MaksimOutdoors if you can get around the islands and over the weed beds in the coves (in a kayak or boat) you will not regret it.

Nice video but it is pronounced PymatuNing, not PymatuMing.
@@MakinTracks I grew up along the lake and have always referred to it as pymatuMing tomato tomatoe at the end of the day
