- Do you know how we Tibetans spend the summertime on the plateau?
In the summertime, we love to go outdoors for ‘Linka’. It used to be a religious ritual. Now, we Tibetans take it as a leisure activity with families or friends. We like finding an outdoor place with beautiful views, playing, singing, drinking, and dancing together.
Last weekend, we organized a ‘Linka’ at a riverbank, which is 70km east of Lhasa, just down below the famous Ganden Monastery.

Jamyang is right, he is Chinese. The term Chinese refers to nationality. Lots of folks get confused with the term Han(ethnicity) and the term Chinese(nationality) - There's no ethic group in China called Chinese. So Jamyang is Chinese Tibetan. Chinese being his nationality and Tibetan being his ethnicity.
