- We are finally finishing concrete to our Croatian homestead house. It has been a long time coming and we are all happy that this part is now done. The first step is to design the concrete ceiling roof slab according to the architectural and structural requirements of the building. Factors such as load-bearing capacity, span, and reinforcement details are carefully considered during the planning phase. Formwork can be made of various materials such as wood, steel, or prefabricated panels, depending on the project's requirements.

Congratulations - very impressed with the quality of build and workmanship, I enjoy your videos. One question. Do you have provisions for plumbing in the new slab for second floor or will all future plumbing be run externally or cut into the slab when needed?
Thank you. I did not make any provisions for plumbing top floor as I am not even sure if it will ever happen. I will run a water line up when the plumber comes but nothing will be done with sewer. As you put thick insulation on the slab and all the finishes sewer or any pipe can be just ran on top of the slab
