The moment where Mickey's voice broke on the don't. That was the moment I completely fell in love with him as a character. This was the first real sign that this was real for him, that he was really affected by Ian.
@@G00fy_raeehaha, you totally got the wrong impression there. Weird thinking 😂 I highly doubt they meant it that way. I think they meant she was good for him in the sense that she smartened Mickey up. Several times. She was kind of the Gallavich wingman for a hot minute - would knock some sense into Mickey anytime he said or did something stupid to Ian. That’s what I assume they meant.
I was literally standing on my feet saying NOOOOOO!!!GO GET HIM YOU F****NG IDIOT!! and when the bus with Ian left i was screaming WHYYYYYYYYY!!! But they both made it perfect, the acting was amazing.
So sad! I feel for both Ian and Mickey. You can see it in both their faces, that they don't want either one to to leave. They both love each other and I hope next season they come back to one another.
God the way he says don't it's break your heart what a great actor you can see inside of Micky very soft and innocent person I love his acting the way he rubs his eyes it's killed you
Must be horrible not to be able to demonstrate your feelings openly like Mickey. He really loves Ian and doesn’t want him to leave but he can’t say or do anything...
I'm more worried about the fact that Ian is using false papers. That means he faces dishonorable discharge, jail time and fines (like 10,000). He won't be able to reenlist. The only way is if he is in DEH and confesses before going to bootcamp even then not sure what happens. I hope he realizes the punishment he will face and admits what what he did.
sheshiechan he was 17 and stole someone's identity. It wouldn't have been possible for him to have gotten in anyways. This show made it look like it was possible to pull one over on the military and get into the military just by saying you were someone... that would never happen. And the fact he lasted as long as he did.. yeah it's fake as hell. Extremely inaccurate...
He actually registered under his older brother's name. Also he didn't last long. According to later seasons he didn't complete basic training because his bipolar disorder caused him to steal and crash a helicopter. He then ran away. He was looking at jail time for crashing the helicopter and when they were searching for Ian under his brother's name, found the brother instead. That's when they realized he used a fake I.D. which also got added to his sentence. He got off though when his siblings testified that he was showing signs of BP disorder and most likely had it because their mother did. Turned out Ian felt as though the military wasn't really for him after all anyways. So it all worked out. Carl ends up showing an interest for a while but that didn't go as far as Ian's.
Enlisting on a whim like that never works out man! The army isn't a job it's a lifestyle. It's a full time commitment. Like it's your wife, not a hottie with a body you met last night in an alley outside an idian casino in Vegas. You gotta really want it, for the long run. Spite will get you far but it won't build a long-lasting career
This scene makes me cry bc I've always said their relationship and dynamic is similar to and reminds me of my ex s/o and this scene kills me now bc of our split and wow the emotion is amazing
Fairly certain you can join the army at 17. Laws have changed at different times though. When I was a teenager, the law was that you had to be 18 by the end of basic. So roughly three months or less from your 18th birthday. Had a friend who would have been 18 on August 10th. He enlisted May 2007 of his senior year. He had to take his finals early. The hindrance there being that you still need a highschool diploma. Although, laws have changed on that too over the years.
Cheyenne Gilham Mickey is 2 years older than Ian so when Ian was 17 Mickey was 19, that was back then (on 2013) but right now Ian is 22 and Mickey is 24
Doesn't "discover" mean that he found out something on his own??? 🤔🤔 Anyways i remember this scene... I remember i cried a little when micky's voice broke like that😢...
I love the way Ian says "I didn't come here for you." He says it so cold like. No wonder he's perfect as the Joker
Bovine Lubbux my thoughts exactly 😂
When he said that you could see mickey break
mickeys face when he realizes mandy knows.
@@taliyahclifton2871 I think Mandy already knew the day she asked Ian if he wanted a Pizza bagel.
@@cirigaming9377 i think she found out at mickey and svetlanas wedding when Ian was saying "the guy you've been fucking gets married" etc.
nah i’ve been wondering why she didn’t fit the puzzle pieces together as ian told her he’s gay in szn1, then obsessed over mickey to her in szn3.
@@calebcaesar9660 nope mandy knew way before that
She even confronted ian abt it
The “Dont” kills me every time
Damn if Ian can make Mickey cry he can do the impossible.
bless you for this comment 😩❤
i've just recently watched clips with mickey and ian. and now I'm obsessed with them and the show.
Me too :) God I ship them so hard
yeah!! excited for new season
Me too I can't wait
Emma Riley that was me ♥️
U still obsessed 8 years later 😭??

Such good acting that you can even hear it in their voice. Ugh.
Love the fact that Mandy was definitely listening to that whole conversation as she was standing right outside the door

I miss Mandy. She was good for Mickey.
That’s her brother💀💀💀

Mickey has a horrible upbringing. His life was so bad that Ian’s seemed glorious.
Mandy had it worse...

Mandy literally got pregnant by Terry 😕

What a long way they've come, they're happily married now! 💜
Wow. Both Noel and Cameron 's acting is pure prefect in this scene and in fact, the whole seasons.
Mickey's voice changes at 2:34 to a crying voice Noel definitely did a great job.
Mickey loved Ian here, and I think he wanted to tell him that but he just didn't know how to form the words.
Mickey was so sure Ian would tow the line. That realization he'd ruined it hit him hard.

Mickey just say DON'T, and Ian really turn his back that quickly.
The development of their relationship from start to finish was probably one of the best things about this show
Fiona and Mandy weren't at the wedding and that fucking hurts

How about an entire season

I think that it's kinda funny how his sister knew

Mandy was a pretty good sister & friend...
No ones talking about how there’s an exclamation point after the title- like no one liked this choice of Ian’s dude 😂
