Sir, I have been asked to calculate the coating (which is deposited while functioning in kiln) thickness in the kiln at different positions. For that, I am using Q=UAΔT.. where U is overall heat transfer coefficient (which contains heat coeff terms for all mode of heat transfers and also an unknown coating thickness term).. Now, my doubt is about Q. Which heat flow rate I should take? and how to calculate that?
@@sudhanshubaranwal1986 you are taking convection heat transfer coefficient which takes place between materials and gas..but radial heat transfer takes place through conduction..as per Fourier law..for coating you have to kADT/DX K-thermal conductivity DT -temperature difference DX-thickness Check the heat transfer coefficient of annular cylinder in Binay k Dutta and calculate the overall heat transfer coefficient. Calculate overall heat transfer coefficient
@@Asnaniclasses_Cement whatever you're saying is true.. but I believe that both convection and Radiation is occurring from outside surface of the shell.. and through shell/refractory/coating, conduction also occurs... So hear tr coefficient term will contain the term of all modes of heat transfer Am I wrong?
👍👍👍
Thank You Sir.
Mist awaited concept
Very informative.
Thanks sir.
Very informative sir & plz consider hydraulic operation also.
Nice one
Good Sir
Very informative Thanks sir
please share sir hydraulic and counter pressure in vrm topic
