    Coupling gap is critical in proper torque and power transfer from the motor to the driven equipment. Gap is also a factor in axial movement of the shafts.

      Loesche generally supply 3 types of classifier, LSKS, LSK and LDC. The classifier shown in video is of LSKS type.

      Seal air gap is important to maintain the quality of final product.

      Why do we measure the seal air gap in both directions axial and radial ? Generally I measure it by filler gauge.

      Guide vanes are static part of classifier. Classification occurs between the gap of rotor blades and guide vanes.

      Grit funnel and reject cone both are same thing having different name, they are just to feed the raw material and coarse material(after separation from classifier) centrally towards the table.

      Seal gap is usually distance between the the rotor and classifier upper housing. We check it in both radial and axial direction through feeler gauge and measuring tape.

      Please check whether grease lubrication system is working properly or not? Change the grease if required. Also you can adjust the sequential timing of lubrication.

      Hi Arjun, we do not need to adjust guide vanes angle during installation it is delivered pre-assembled at site.
