I went to buy Soba Meshi Onigiri, Saba Shioyaki Don, and Oyako Don from 7-11 after watching the video. The taste of all 3 is so so only. Nothing impactful to wanna buy again. I can only recommend the Butter Chicken Briyani. It is still the best.

@@missplainjane3905 that is certainly explainable for some aspects of Japanese life such as a great majority of the public sticking to cash or still using the flip phones. I hope that Singapore can have more Japanese convenience stores such as Lawson, Family Mart opening here. Our local convenience store chain, Cheers, can't really be compared to their wide range of snacks, instant meals, drinks, etc. which are not only pretty in presentation but also delicious. However, I find that 7-11 and Don Don Donki's Japanese meals do not taste that nice compared to those in Japan. The weird thing is 7-11 used to sell mentaiko spaghetti with mushrooms, mushroom soup and cod soup which imo are some of their best products but they kill them off and sell mainly meals that hardly anyone wants to buy.
I am sure this set of new menu will be a hit where there are 7eleven stores near student dormitories! Nostalgic as I used to frequent Lawson n 7eleven in Tokyo!
Hahaha....i never EVER try Japanese food in Singapore 7 Eleven at all because i thought it sucks in terms of taste and low in quality. But you changed my mind from this video. Lol😄

Looks good! I need to try these before they're gone. :P By the way, you should check out the "Paw-verbs on the Lawn" exhibition before it's gone! It's a collaboration between the Japanese artist mofu_sand and the Malay Heritage Centre, with lots of cute cat drawings depicting Malay proverbs. It will be up until May 30, and I think it will be right up your alley. :)
i would eat more 7-11 food if they can rise to japan quality.. especially to provide QUALITY AND CLEAN vegetables, salads and cold soba in the convenience food section. i really like the veggie sticks with miso dip available in japan. PLEASE LAWSON AND FAMILY MART COME TO SINGAPORE! CHEERS CAN GO AND DIE, it's the worst coz NTUC really does NOT know how to run any convenience store properly. but one thing the food management and keeping them cold is not well done at 7-11 here, the display always looks so dirty.

Wow 7-Eleven is upscale in Singapore - wish my 7-11 offered iced matcha latte. Here in US it's dumpy usually at a gas station and full of over priced really crappy junk food. Avoid at all costs unless I am on a road trip and have to do a pit stop.
The last two items were meant to be microwaved Steaming them lost the texture! Did you buy two portions of everything so your wife will enjoy too!!?? Roll cake looked too sweet! Is there a matcha one??
7-11 in Singapore is really nothing compared to the konbini in Japan. The food is very disappointing here. I will only eat it if there's absolutely no choice. Everything tastes like plastic. Disgusting really.
Thank you for reviewing, nothing more authentic than a Japanese doing a review like this. Also i always go for the clam soup when im drunk LOLOLOLOLOL
