How to make YUM YUM SAUCE -SECRET Sauce for Steak Burger Chicken Fish Shrimp Seafood & Dipping Sauce

- How to make the popular 'YUM YUM SAUCE' that is increasingly growing and being used in popular Hibachi Restaurants such as Benihana Restaurants. This secret ingredient sauce is Amazing over Steak, Burgers, Chicken, Fish, Shrimp, Seafood, Rice, used as a dipping sauce for fries or anything, or even as a dressing, etc.. This is hands down one of my favorite Sauce and one that I make a lot since this is EASY to whip up using basic Ingredients you may already have at home.. Try this one out!
Ingredients used:
1 Cup Mayonnaise
1 tbsp Ketchup
1 tbsp Melted Butter
1 tbsp Garlic Powder (use 1.5 tbsp for more garlic taste)
1 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Paprika
1 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp Water
------------------------------------
(Optional) 1 tsp Hot Sauce
Best consumed right away or within 2-3 days in fridge. (Half all ingredients to make less)
Add about 2 tsp of Rice Vinegar or White Wine Vinegar as a preservative to last up to a week in fridge.

Our local Japanese place uses a very similar recipe except they use rice vinegar instead of ketchup and they add about 50% more sugar (to make up for the sugar that they're missing from the ketchup). It gets enough of the pink color from the paprika and the extra tang from the vinegar is great, especially on rice and shrimp.
Can I use the white vinegar instead of rice vinegar?

It goes really well with pork as well. I recently marinated a pork loin with the yum yum sauce and baked it at 375 for 30-35mins...it was amazing.

Add a little dijon mustatd if u want it to have that tangy flavor :D
1/4 c soy sauce
1/2 c vegetable oil
1/4 c toasted sesame seed
1 egg yolk or mayo
1/4 tbsp dry mustard
1/2 clove garlic minced
1/4 c chopped white onion
1/4 c whipping cream
This is the closest recipe I've tried that tasted like what they serve at Japanese Village. 😃

Can this b use as a shawama sauce?
No. The sauce for Shawarma calls for tahini and has a complete different taste. Yum Yum sauce is more of a dipping sauce. Unless of course you choose to have this sauce on your Shawarma but it’s not a replacement for Tahini Sauce.
Half the water and add rice vinegar as it’s replacement and add cayenne pepper it’s sooo gas

if you add sugar you don't need mirin... BTW every souce is better with a little touch of your choice vinegar
