If you are Big on Long Range, the controller with the least glitching will go the furthest! 1.RCPRO 2.RC-N1 3. DJI RC..... I tested off camera!
Also I'm hearing about disconnection issues 😓
I don't have any issues so far 🤞
I did all my updates on Assistant 2 & I try not to Hover, I keep the Drone moving, maybe it is disconnecting when overheating, I don't know!

Rule of thumb with RC coming from an old guy being me, and a retired electronics engineer, the best we found was a 10:1 ratio, 1000ft out 100ft up, 2000ft out 200ft up, 10k out 1k up. I fly my DJI Mini 3 Pro with its stock DJI RC 4000m and at only 70m altitude before signal loss in suburbs close to the city, but I am launching from a verandah that is 200m above the ground level of the city at 4000m away. Everyone is actually missing a very important thing though, and that is the CPU of the DJI RC is hopeless it barely runs the App and screen record without stuttering, why couldn’t they just have selected a better cpu heck they cost nothing to go double the cores and even double the speed

@@cvrljakromano and unfortunately the processor can’t be swapped out like they use to in the old days so what you get it what your stuck with, that’s probably why they didn’t give us access to the core of the system either because it would probably hang if we install anything. I would have it at a guess that the CPU load with just the app and screen recording will be 90% heck I’ve had 2 scary moments where the app has crashed when I was screen recording and flicking through screens for settings of camera.

    Hello,
I bought a Mavic 3 recently; it came with the stock RC-N1 controller. I have good range but the flight experience has been disappointing because when I try to manually follow a subject the aircraft is not as smooth as other drones and is very difficult to stay on point.
I have tried over and over to adjust the controller settings to improve this but has not worked. I fly with the Tripltek 8 monitor which to me is one of the best.
I finally figured out there is a millisecond delay when using the Tripltek with the RC-N1!
I set up a test in my house and I can see a visible delay when moving my hand or snapping my finger in front of the camera. This to me would cause the tracking problem when trying to follow a subject because the subject is moving and every action I do is a fraction behind of where it should be.
On the other hand, I have a Mini 3 Pro and I used the DJI RC from that drone and paired it with the Mavic 3. NO DELAY observed!
No one on UA-cam that I know has mentioned this in their videos when making controller comparisons. I think this may be important information if other people are experiencing this.

If DJI ever gets it together and Pairs RC Pro RM510 with Mini 3 Pro, I can sell the "meh" RM330. That was the plan, but DJI is more interested in providing another tier between RC-N1 and RC Pro. Now we have 3 smart controllers, 3 versions of Occusync, you need an interoperability chart to know which work together. RM330 froze every time I flew Mavic 3 with it, letting Mavic 3 fly home like a ghost ship.

Wait there is more to it ... The RC can not screen record at higher resolutions like a phone can. Also the RC needs to pre download the maps

So I know you’re cost conscious, but I have a question. I’m within my return period of my rc pro.
Am I crazy to return my rc pro and just get the mini 3 bundle? Why shouldn’t I do it?? Anyone?
That’s 1200 back and 900 for a drone and the DJI rc? What am I missing?

Looks like a range test to me. Would be useless for where and how I film with my drones. A friend is returning his mini 3 today. His reason. Constant loss of signal, and battery overload. Hey! Try getting out of your car. Might get a better signal. But from what I see, the mini 3 Pro is nothing more than a TOY drone.

Man its so brutal how bad the dji RC tests
.....if I ever get mini 3 pro I'd be OK not spending the money on dji RC
