Omnibus ranged even further with presentations on art and architecture, avant-garde literature, American and world history, criminal and constitutional law, international relations, sports, and science. Viewers tuned in for entertainment, but also for instruction and insight.
    The series aired successively over the CBS, ABC, and NBC networks, consistently attracted 16 million viewers to each episode, and won more than 65 awards, including nine Emmys and two Peabody awards.

    As soon as he starts his show at around 5:30, all the what he said previously goes out of the window with his hands flying everywhere 😮

      He just showed us the basic conducting pattern before. Conductors tend to get carried away 😂

      You have to know he rules to properly “break” them. He’s teaching a basic formula to a non-conductor audience so that we can understand what he’s doing, but he has his own way of accomplishing the same task.
