What use is a beautifully painted Fellowship if we don't have some equally vile enemies to pit them against on their journey through Moria!
Today we have a simple, easy to follow 5 step guide to help you paint the swathes of Goblins that dwell in the deep in Moria. Utilising a combination of darker tones for the armour and robes and lighter tones to really bring the gaunt, malnourished features of these creatures to life on the tabletop!
This is an easy to replicate scheme that will have your 80+ Goblin warriors battle ready in no time at all, from swordsmen to bowmen!
Now, any Goblin army worth their salt would never be without their brutish power houses of cave trolls so keep your eyes peeled for a guide for those coming very soon!
Next week we'll be continuing with the Fellowship, "one dwarf yet in Moria who still draws breath!" Until then we hope you enjoy and as always
Happy Hobbying!!

You know these guys go far behond the standard for painting models and you can really see how much difference it makes for the final product
Haha thank you so much! :)
Best guide on youtube for these critters!
Thank you so much! Far too kind!
This is exactly what I needed!! Just put together 48 of these little guys 🤣
Ooooh 48 gobbos to get done, thats a mission haha, trying to persuade myself to not paint up a 1k army myself lol
May get round to painitng mine, only had them from around 2003
Idem
Excellent tutorial once again. Thank you
My pleasure!
By far my favorite paint guide. Subscribed, please keep up the good work!
Thank you so so much!
I literally finished painting a test model yesterday. Think I need 24 of these plus 2 captains for the Quest of the Ring bearer. Might make some adjustments now, using your video. Hoping for a Cave Troll video in the near future.
Haha who doesnt love a horde of Gobbos! I've had to stop myself buying a 1k moria list since painting this fella up lol. Cave troll and balrog are in the pipeline my friend :)
Yes we need a cave troll from you!
Awesome! Was literally searching for a good guide for them yesterday :)
Haha my timing couldn't be better then eh lol, I hope you enjoy :)
Congratulations on hitting 1k subscribers mate, proud of you!
Thank you so much bro! Couldn't have done it without all of you guys! :)
Hi tom, absolutely love the videos. Just wondering what colours you use for the quiver on the bow models? Cheers
Thank you kindly!! I would work up from an abaddon/stormvermin mix layering up through to fine highlights with dawnstone were it me
Thanks heaps. I'll do that. :)
Hello 👋🏻
I am a great fan of your video‘s 🤩👍🏻
I save every painting tutorial.
I have a question.
What brushes are you using ??
I have GW and armypainter brushes.
But they are not so thin.
Can you Tell me which you use ??
Thanks
Sincerely Claus
Thank you so much!! Im glad you're enjoying the videos!! I use a combination of GW brushes, Artis Opus brushes and Brokentoad brushes myself
Can you make a toutorial how to paint moria troll?
All the Moria!
So do we get the Smaug tutorial now you've hit 1k subs?
Smaug will be coming :D
Awesome videos - unfortunately the model is way better visible while you paint compared to the 360 in the end - different camera? - probably just the exposure which is a bit too high :s
Probably just the intensity of the lightbox lights compared to my desk lamp, ill try and see if I can rectify, thank you for the feedback :)
Okay this is just getting weird IM PAINTING THESE AS WE SPEK perfect timing.... how to paint the balrog next? hehe
Seriously thats exactly what im doing. Was thinking this morning how well timed this was as well. I would also second a balrog build!
Haha not bad on the timing front there eh! Balrog will be coming soon as we progress our Quest of the Ringbearer series :)
@@PlanetMithril oh snap im playing thru that too dude 🤘🤘🤘
