Well, I guess my wife was a Costello Unique, but would likely not have been too happy with the "knock her lightly and put her on the shelf knowing she will be there when I return." I was laughing for a good while imagining that. Now here is the kicker: I really do remember my dad, when I was very young, suggesting my mom (they met in 1947) was better than the finest blended Scotch Whisky, and she seemed flattered! I will say that their marriage remained as romantic as any I have ever seen, so who knows?
