Love this. It is a great reminder to slow down and take a look at what God is saying to us. In 2023 I allowed my job to consume me until I got burnt out. Not this year. I need to slow down and take care of me.
Sister Roberts - You don't have to purchase a new planner. You have had one all along. You quoted Jeremiah 29:11 which brings attention to planning. God demonstrated planning as we should know it in Genesis. Planning is demonstrated throughout the Bible. You are absolutely right about not purchasing a planner. I am so sure you hold the only one you need in your hands every day. The Holy Bible is has all the plans you need.

Amen! Though I'm not against anyone who uses planners (because I used them for years). I just feel convicted to leave my plans in the hands of God now even while being intentional and working toward my goals. Thanks for your comment!
Sis, I appreciate your words of encouragement. Today I decided that my day will start and end reading, studying & meditating on God’s word. My Pastor preached last Sunday on Matthew 6:33 to seek God first… God knows my needs and wants. I need to know what God wants from me ❤

You know I'm at 1:06 and hearing you say not that I have to work out but that I get to work out. That's confirmation for me, because my paster talks about. that it's not about what he has to do for his wife it's what he gets to do and he said the same about God that he doesn't have to do for God but that he gets to do for God and he said that when he started waking up asking God excitedly what do we get to do today God? He said that's one of the things that changed his life. and I'm sure my perspective needs to change its really funny because I've been changing the way I think lately and I think that's what God wants from me & for me "do not be conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind through the washing of the word. 😊

This is so beautiful and heart touching ❤️ because for the month of December God told me it will be a season of preparation...I thought it would be preparation for me to accomplish something this upcoming year, work on my vision but God was preparing my mind, heart, body, spirit to enter into His rest....less striving this year and more rest, slowing down and being present. Even my pastor has been preaching lately to take one day at a time.
Currently that's what I've been doing because I'm pregnant and my baby is due any day now, so I have no choice but to slow down 😅 but the real test will come when I am mobile. I pray I will continue to rest and wait on The Lord on a daily basis and enjoy all of my blessings.
