    I love it. Don't mind about the Karamojong like video in the background. After all Karamoja is our former home.we belong to the Ateker group not the Jo group, which has the Itesot also. The Word Lango is general group name for the Western Ateker group. The eastern Ateker has the Turkana, Tsamburu, Masai, Nandi, etc.

    Hello Ongwen, I have been enjoying your videos. I am Lango from Dokolo but living in Canada. Can you please find out why our traditions such as marriage and other social/family laws are similar to old testament laws in the Bible? Sometimes even the names of people mentioned in the family tree. Thank you.

    Thanks alot for trying to preserve our great culture. I need some assistance: what does etogo mean in our culture. And how important was it in our culture

    • @the_miltonian
      @the_miltonian  Рік тому

      "Etogo" is an elder. A male. His role is performing rituals diring 'lamo two'. Which is like the modern day healig prayers.

    That in the background is the original Lango traditional lifestyle exactly if you look at 1930 s images

  • @hassanwacha2191

    I think it would have been better to get the background video to reflect Lango lifestyle. These ones look to be from the Karamojong people.
