I really enjoy you both make, I have an idea, being now a pensioner I can remember the old ferries to the IOW, I'm especially interested in the old paddle steamers Ryde and Sandown. Maybe for a series you could do about the ferries to the IOW ?
Thank you both for the interesting history, so it is 14 years since the wax works closed, I remember hearing on the news the up-roar of it coming to the end. It good to see some nice shots of film taken on the Island. Again it's lot of work from you both to produce even a short film, so thanks again. My Best Wishes. Andrew.
@@andrewrawlance6651 Thank you Andrew. Can't believe it's already been that long since it shut ... seems like yesterday we used to visit. It is a shorter episode this time, but the next episode of 'Dark Side' will hopefully be much longer as there is a lot more information about the subject we are covering (we won't disclose what the next episode is about just yet). Thank you so much for watching as always and hope you are well 😊👍
I have been fortunate to have held Louis skull in my hands. It is 100 percent a genuine human skull and not a model . I have also seen one off photographs of Graham Osborn-Smith with one of Louis relatives pictured by the coffin from the 1980s . These are unpublished images but the owner wishes to remain anonymous. Great film .
@@ISLEOFWIGHTARCHIVE thank you so much! Hope you do mind us using the still from the video, we have linked your full original video in the discription. Must be amazing to hold Louis skull, we are hoping to visit him very soon when the owner is back from Holiday. All the best and love your channel 😊👍
Thanks Eleanor. We remember the story well but the real horrific tragedy here is learning Brading Waxworks is no more! My (then) little girl's first Go To place when we visited even before Blackgang. I haven't the heart to tell her despite she's in her 50's now! 😂
@@minorthing8970 It is a massive tradegy that the waxworks shut! I remember when it closed and there was a lot of uproar from the locals about the situation. Luckily there is still a good amount of spooky footage from the museum though it would've been wonderful to visit it one last time. Thank you for watching 😊
Enjoyed this

@@timharris6120 that's a great idea Tim, we will have to do that in the future. Thank you so much for watching as always 😊👍

@@WightWanderer 'They' ignore uproar from the locals on everything now. Loadsa goodies to be found in the troughs.
What railway carriage were you searching for? I have some interesting info on some of the carriages at Gurnard
Thanks for sharing. 🧶🌈🍓💙 P.S. I love Eleanor’s cardi, did you make it yourself?
Hello Jenny it's Eleanor. Thank you for complementing the cardi! No it's not, it's from a website called EMP 🧥
