- Final dive of last summer and I forgot to bring snorkel :) but I finally found moray eel and it escaped me twice into the sea weed, almost gave up on her :)

You don't joke around with Moray eels. God forbid it bites you. Easy way to lose your finger.

Dude, a moray can bite your hand off and he'll come back for the other. Don't get lost in the sentimentalist trend of viewing apex predators as underwater dogs. They are vicious and better left alone.

How do you find them ? I seen and caught plenty but i want to know how to find them ,
There is one place where I always find them, not sure is it because of terrain or position but they love that particular place and I only find them there or close by... its a place with many flat rocks with big holes under them for moray eels to take cover underneath, and plenty of tall sea grass to swim thru unseen

Da Hrvatska je, a nemam strah kad su male, jednom me isto tako mali ugor, kojeg sam kroz rep pogodio puskom, ugrizao za ruku taman iza zgloba šake i nije pustao.. morao sam ga cupati sa ruke pa sad imam lijepi oziljak na V za uspomenu 😅

If I speargun a Fish, I'll give it a fine cut through the gills or jam the knife between the eyes into the brain so the fish dies soon and as painless as possible. How do you do this with moray eels? Do you just leave it to die on the surface or do you also fast kill it? ...you shot it twice here in the video, I assume that this is not your normal procedure or do you try to shoot it as many times until it is dead?

Soon I hope... Last summer I didn't dive at all... did test dive with new fins last week and now I'm almost ready, just waiting for a sunny day 👌
Visit malta and you will see one every 10-40 metres in rocky areas. They are very aggressive sea creatures. İ dont know wheter to shoot one or not.

There is tones of sea beam in Croatia, but i couldn’t fish them. can you can a video husting beam fish with your speargun? I catched 2 octopus with a bamboo stick last week. It was lot of fun
