Great place, good food.. the only issue I have, and it is a small one, is the chicken to batter ratio.. there is so much batter that you need binoculars to see the chicken. The potato salad is awesome, the cowboy burger is divine.. worth the price. Nice job Danny.
It looks like this place is going with an American style country gravy which is lighter in color than brown gravy and traditionally heavy on the black pepper. Being American myself, I give them credit for their creative use of our country style biscuits and gravy.
THAT was one incredible review.. The food looked absolutely fantastic. I SO wish I could go there TODAY and try those wonderful biscuit burgers and fries! WOW!
I do like the way the food looks. The crunch sounds good. The potato salad being made by the wife had to be special. As an American, I'd go try it out.
Danny definitely needs to come back to the states. Except this time don’t just visit touristy and chain restaurants. You absolutely need to visit the Southeast and Midwest for some amazing food.

When I went on holiday to America I did 1 week in Texas and went to Texas State Faire. Was very good, they have a giant cowboy statue at entrance and was told by Americans just before I went you have to eat at least 2 things fried or you not been, you name it they fry it :). If you ever in Texas and state faire is on highly recommend checking it out, especially if your from UK like me to see how they do it.
In Denmark a gravy Can be white depending what is being served. Not much different from UK if doing it from a base. I am British, Maybe gravy is the european Currency, do a base, Can be hollandaise, bearnaise, pepper sauce, gravy etc depending hoe you make it😀. Over in Nordic lands chopped carrots and peas mixed with a white sauce a staple side dish, just like anything which is food related should see and taste right 😀

American “Biscuit” is not quite a scone but similar- flakier and savory. So Somewhere between a Dinner Roll and a Savory Scone.
