idk if this was mentioned already, but butterfree can alternate between Sleep Powder and Whirlwind. It's RNG dependant but awesome when it works (by working i mean putting 3-4 enemies to sleep)
I was thinking about this for Gen 5 actually, because in that game they changed how sleep works to where your sleep turns get reset after switching out. Definitely some abusable potential there.
The Remoraid and Octillery thing got explained by that big leak a couple years back, there were some beta designs where Remoraid was a pistol and Octillery was a tank that presumably got changed due to potential controversy
funny thing about the electabuzz/magmar/jynx trio is that jynx is out of place because literally they swapped her in for a cut pokemon. there was going to be a yeti completing the trio that got cut due to the notable issue of "just being a yeti" and so they gave a bunch of its traits (most notably Ice Punch) to jynx instead
I don't really see the problem with a Pokemon that's just a yeti, that's an interesting concept and has funny implications about real life. It DOES explain a lot of things, though.
if we can have pokemon that are just fish or pokemon that are just bugs, we can have one thats just a yeti. yet another braindead decision by gamefreak.
@@AnAverageGoblin well fish and bugs are things that can go anywhere in the game world, there's really only one dedicated Ice Pokemon Zone in gen 1 (Seafoam Islands) and there's only so many Pokemon you can put there
While there are interesting mechanics to be found in modern fire emblems, you are correct that they were better before awakening. I support the sentiment to play 9 and 10, they are great
This is actually something that I find weird about both FE and Touhou, which is that both fanbases refer to the games by their number. I suck at knowing which games are numbered, I wish people would say PoR or 3H or something, and for Touhou especially the titles are so elaborate that acronyms would work really well. Oh well, the fans know it that way, and that's what's important.

@@Suprapika That's cool. In Gen 3 they can simply awake in the turn you use Whirlwind. Still 97.5% Sleep because of coumpound eyes tho
