Door Central Lock Melted In the Sun! Alfa Romeo 159 2.2 JTS

This time I got to replace my Driver’s door’s Central Locking Door Lock.
It was working fine but after parking in the hot sun for 3-4hrs, it stopped working. Funny thing was it did unlock when I came back to the car, but afterwards it just stopped working.
I think the insides melted under the heat of the Sun!
This time I managed to remove the whole internal panel away from the door together with the power window system.
Made it much easier to replace my bitumen seal around the internal panel and carry out most of the work.
