THANK YOU SO MUCH for going over the Transcendent Modules in full.
Almost every guide out there either doesn't cover them OR they only cover the one they're focusing on while saying the others are useless without any explanation as to why.
That alone is amazing enough outside the build video itself. I really hope to see actual testing for every character on how each Transcendent Module works and how it changes characters to make better informed decisions on making new builds.
"Inflicts towed on nearby enemies with Laundry"
In other words for her 4th skill it will only suck up enemies that are in water or had been in water at some point and got debuffed with Laundry.
Thats why it fails to suck up enemies nearby sometimes and snatches enemies far away sometimes. The puddle of water Laundry bomb makes is basically just right below it.
@@Zaane1291 thank you. Now I know my rotations: Use 1 and go in with 2, then retreat with 3, use 4 and then another 1. Rinse and repeat

The cool thing is you can use your skills while 4 is active. I normally pop 4 and then get a group wet before shooting the bubble at them.

The amount of effort you put into this video is impressive my man. Breaking down each ability, their augments, etc. into an easy to understand format. Even including the things the game doesn’t say like the hidden bonuses to crit. Props to you.

On Reactors, Valby and Gley share reactor choices (of course depending on the build).
For a Infinite Massacre Gley (better than just plain infinite rockets), there are many similarities, which makes farming this reactor amazing as you get it for two characters.

Gley with Infinite Massacre in mind
- Non-Attribute Reactor
- Both Thunder Cage and Python work (Python is better because of the higher Fire Rate though, but Thunder Cage is still great, note the ability doesn't work with Massacre...)

Gley also has the option of an Epic Reactor so that one can use the Blue Blood Bloomer (SMG). Less boost than an Ultimate reactor, but has the highest Fire Rate in the game. Allowing her to get to 1333 Rate of Fire after mods (base of 999....). Python is close (base of 923), but then you have to farm an ultimate reactor that matches, so is harder to do. Thunder Cage is still great at a base of 666, but this is huge DPS loss for Infinite Massacre Gley. On the other hand it does give the amazing option of mobbing that Thunder Cage does for everyone and everyone already has a Thunder Cage. Thunder Cage is of course the signature weapon of Bunny (and by extension Valby, I say it is Bunny's mainly because like Bunny, both are given for free at essentially the same time, pairing them together).
So you can see, they're almost the same other than priority. Yay for making farming simpler.
This is one reason I want more well done and in depth guides to make farming simpler when finding overlaps like this.
Got all items today in about 6 hours now just to wait so I can craft her. It definitely helps to have a character that's leveled up enough to be able to farm for things faster

Big respect for doing farm only. I appreciate this a lot as a F2P player. Seems like I mostly see content creators who've spent hundreds already. I get it, content creators get the most from being early with guides and content, but it's just annoying to be bombarded by whale content, hence my negative comment on your old beta guide. Her 2 skill is a great ‘set and forget’ skill to help take out the boss floating ball/orb mechanic. It’s a 3 dimensional skill (spherical) instead of a 2 dim skill (ground based circular). I’m sure most of you know this but you can also stop (interrupt) most skills of most of the descendants simply by hitting the same skill button again. I use it a lot for her 3 skill when needed.

One thing on Waterplay - even though you dont see the animation lingering when thrown to a lower elevation, the dot still ticks below, so its more useful than the bouncy ball
As someone already stated, the suck only occurs if you apply the Laundry debuff first (by then most enemies are most likely dead anyways)
For her ultimate u need to apply laundry effect before using it. If they don't have laundry effect they won't get sucked up into the bubbles
Thanx for this valby build ive jus recently got her leveled and didnt quite know where to go...i hope u continue to do the no investment to max investment versions of these builds...the no investments gives me something to work with until i get the crystallizations for the max investments

Loved her in the beta. Only time I spent money since the game launched was immediately on day one to buy Valby. Havnt looked back! Was fun being the only one I saw for the first few days. Now she’s becoming more common since ppl are getting further along.
great indepth video lots to digest, any tips on getting supply moisture?
Doesn't help a lot, but I got supply moisture and tidal wave AND a Enzo transcendent module at same time from 1st hard boss. Didn't know it could drop multiple.....then again I could've gotten two of those before and didn't know it...but I'm like 99% sure I didn't have any of the 3.

Whats your thoughts on Python + Valby combo? It might not be a mob clearer smg but it does offer debuff iirc

From my limited testing, her laundry debuff(-20% non attribute and electric resistance) only applies to abilities not weapons. I do not have moisture supply yet now I must get it. Thanks for all the info
It reduces lightning resistance which means you can slap lightning damage on literally any weapon and it will benefit, though her SMG is usually the best
@@sursheep1819 it's not giving 20% extra damage. Test it for yourself. Thundercage with electric enhancement was doing 1125 electric damage and when debuffed with laundry it only went up to 1197
I had all the luck in the world that I got Supply Moisture one hour after getting Valby, I hadn't even started to farm it and I got it from a random boss🤩 she is the best! I can’t wait for her Ultimate
I have another question… skill power & skill power modifier are both confusing me. Why, when set up like this, do when i hover over my skills … my skill power shows in red & is decreased? Its as if shes the only character that , when putting on a skill modifier mod, it puts it in the negative but everyone else it adds & raises skill power.

Will farming for the Ultimate version of Valby require the same materials just more? I don’t have her unlocked yet.
it would be nice to know what the best way to get the transcendent mods is ... i ran many of the possible drop missions and cant seem to get them since they are quite critical to any of the builds
How do you know that thunder cage is Valbys gun, I assumed it was bunny’s ngl. Also how do you find out which descendant each of the ultimate guns belong to?

I got the sloppy moisture module today, I don't know if they fixed it or not. In my case the crit rate is applied only if I cast a puddle when I'm already on a puddle.

In your video you just use skill 1 and you have the buff

Farm for something else. The game knows and won't give you what your farming for lol I was farming for super senses for days and never got it. I wanted to get it before my ultimate gley was finished crafting and I just have up. Went farming for a reactor using her today and got super senses twice
@@RogueAero I got it the next day after farming for Blair to get more void shards for the reactor, and then got another one today farming for something else
Should i save some catalysts etc for Ultimate valby?
I am still trying to figure out how to get the supply moisture module as it only shows up on those void missions and it doesn’t say what amorphous material is needed to unlock it.
I truly feel as though Valby is one of the best if not the best descendant in the game. Great damage, CC, DR and speed in one move, and an debuff in her normal that not only boosts her own damage but electric as well. Goddamn I love her

Best place I found was a void fusion reactor in Hagios. Although it took about 46 attempts

@@PSGR96 my issue with that mission is that you have to farm up farm fragments first to even try the mission. If it was just a normal mission at 2% I'd be fine doing it.

Where does this drop? I can't find it anywhere, just unlocked Fortress but haven't started the zone yet. Tracking is turned on and progress bar is 20% full but provides no direction.
This is a really useful guide, the only thing I’m a little confused on is what “weapon playform” actually means. But other than that you did a smashing job of making it easy to understand
It means that she's very good at buffing weapons
What makes you use edging shot over others as it reduces your firearm atk
One thing I noticed with the python (I’m not sure if I wanna use it or this gun) but it adds 20 extra % crit onto the python even know the python only has a 5% crit chance so with the python it’s x4 and with the fire rate mod it’s sitting above 1200 fire rate but the crit damage could be nice with the thunder so I really don’t know
Amazing video as always. I do have one question. I just finished farming Maximize Range and I'm struggling to see why this mod would be used over Skill Expansion. At max rank, Max has 1.7% more range in trade for the -20% skill power. Both have the same capacity cost and effect the same skills as far as I can see. I'm sure I am missing something but I can't figure it out. Plz Halp
I just happened to have it at higher rank. But yes, there isn't a huge difference.
You'd probably want to use the mod without any upgrades as it gives you 25% inc range or smth like that

Hello! Can you please explain a little more what you mean about passionate sponsors not activating off of supply moisturize, & that valbs cant buff her teammates off of it either? That part slightly confuses me. I might just be drawing a blank. 😅
Supply moisture is not considered a buff and cannot activate Passionate Sponsor. Teammates also do not get the buff when they stand on her water, only she does.
The suck range of her 4 is greater when enemies are affected by laundry.

ran void fusion reactore more than 30 times for that 2.5% supply moisture drop but still nada. sadge

I ran it 32 times and zilch. Then a Gley seen me doing it and helped. I flew through 12 with Gley's help and got it.

What about the Decimator mod? I've heard it synergizes with Valby because her DoT skills count as debuff kills. Only for mobbing and farming of course, it would be useless for bossing.
Yup, it is one of my listed extra mods for higher investment on the mobbing build. Mainly because it gives ~50% Skill Power, but requires kills to upkeep, while the used Skill Power mods already give similar amounts without a condition.

How do you get the tidal wave model?
Im confused. Supply moisture increases skill crit rate & firearm crit rate by 20%, my base crit rate for skills after some mods is 10.77% & when i stand on water, it shoots up to 53.85%. Im lost on what the equation is and how we calculate it, because it just looks like way more than the supposed “20%” increase the supply moisture mod states.
Can the mod and water effect on guns affect team mates who stands in the water? Can you test it please? Thanks

at 12:15 why is your supply moisture module capactity is 4 but not green?
Transcendent modules cost gets lower when you increase their level.
I accidentally put a Cerulean in my skill module socket and supply water is Malachite
I have been using your build so far it's pretty good but the lack of survival is causing me somr issues. Any solution?
Generally if you need more survivability on the low investment versions, you will have to downrank duration or range mods to rank up the survivability mods more. Those are the only ones that can afford to be lowered.

@@Aznvasionsalright I did some testing and got a decent bossing build do you have any recommendations for increasing "Tidal Waves" damage? It seems that I do better damage for mobbing with my bossing build.
It seems, from the testing of others, that Valby increases the "Base Crit Chance" by +20%.
No matter the weapon type. Then multipliers are added on top of that.
That is why the Thunder Cage's numbers double, since its base was literally doubled from 20% to 40%.
While the Base of say, the Tamer is 10%, it is now 30% and then the mods are applied, thus a x3 increase.
Or the Vestigial Organ, with its base of 1% going to 21% and then multiplied by its mods.
So there really isn't a need for a spreadsheet anymore.....
Yep this is correct, and I’ve been a bit busy and have not had the time to update the spreadsheet landing page. I was going to add a front section explaining that it adds to base before mods and that the sheet was no longer needed.
Is there a reason why your skills are 1 to 4 instead of q v z etc?
I find they’re easier to use, as I’m used to playing Warframe. I prefer using q v z etc as hot keys for other functions

Just got water play last night and I don’t know if anyone said this….but it does 100,000 + more total damage than the bouncy bubbles
Yeah but I feel like it’s bugged a bit. If I’m not on a flat ground it feels like it doesn’t go it’s full range and just cuts off when hitting the hill
Water play is trash i uzed it and it sucks the bubble is better especially when you learn how to aim it on terrain
Simply not true, I’ve had water play for almost a week and I’ve never seen it do any ‘damage on hit’…..if it did then the mod would be infinitely better than all her other mods bar moisture supply
@@lordenel9715 I’ve done the testing. At base it does over 100,000 damage. It has a higher tick rate
@@lordenel9715 its not better because the bouncy balls can be thrown off a cliffs or bounce on terrain with hills. The water play is a straight line and won’t go off a cliff. All I said was it did more damage. Didn’t say it was better
How’d you get her module capacity to 80?
Leveling up your submodule to max makes it grant +10. In the long run, you will later want to Catalyze that slot for another +5.

my clean up damadge trail hits for 280k damage (i wonder how high others have it)
the rest hits for roughly 120k damage

What does weapon platform mean?
Buffs focused on enhancing weapon damage, instead of dealing ability damage
Numbers, spreadsheets and calculations. This is what happens, when a Warframe player picks up The First Descendant 😉

Which setup for mobbing?
Mobbing is easiest with Water Play, but needs to fit a range mod on somehow. Tidal Wave has higher damage, but hits a smaller area. Supply Moisture has strongest all round nuke for ability dps, but only works on high investment. This is all regards to ability dps.
If you want to weapon platform, Supply Moisture is the only option.

it has 0 synergy with bunny's kit whatsoever. Honestly, Executioner is much more suited for Bunny when running around with her 3. It's a really good synergy shotgun for her.

@@Aznvasions hard disagree. Both are Electro and cause electric explosions. IF Valby were to use it shes most likely out of all the descendants to electrocute herself cuz ya know her thing is WATER
You can't electrocute yourself in this game. I'm referring to actual interaction synergies on kits.
@@Aznvasions thats not what Signature Weapon means tho. Gley has a unlimited Rocket launcher build so the synergy would be trough the roof. Does that mean a Rocket Launcher is suddenly Gley's Signature Weapon? NO. Signature Weapon is more to the Lore of a Character rather than whats good to use with that Character. Sounds stupid but if the world of TFD was real than Valby would stay as far away from Thunder Cage as she could. IF it was just laying around somewhere and she found it, she just dip. making it the Opposite of her Signature Weapon.

Why do u have 80 max capacity? I can reach only 70
Upgrading your sub skill modules gives extra capacity (up to 10 slots) + mastery rank as well

i feel like supply moisture its bugged and will be fixed eventually.. There a lot of mod in game that just don't work or are bugged. Supply moisture don't said it give crit to weapons so its mostly bugged unless dev come out and said its how should work...
For example Analysis master mod right now its not working.
Hey just a heads up, I've heard that elemental resist barely affects incoming damage.

@@Aznvasions also what about adding analysis master- on hit enemys fire arm critical hit resistance -25% for 10sec 15s cd. Not to python but any special rounds that may be good.
