I use something exactly like that to clean the bottom of the hole when I'm placer mining and prospecting. That a good improvement on straight stick. Thanx
Great presentation. These things are $89 on Amazon . I think that I will be able to scrounge around in the basement and come up with your whole parts list . You are a gentleman and a scholar for passing this along ………….. thanks again.
That was pretty cool video, thanks for all that info I’ve always wanted to try doing that and I might make one of these and get out there and try it, because of your videos I got my first fishing license in a long time, I used to go fishing every week all my life and then I stopped and because of you I went out and bought a couple new fishing poles and reels etc. etc. and oh boy can you spend a lot of money on equipment I had no idea how expensive everything is these days, and again because of your videos I’m going to get out and enjoy fishing again, keep these coming!!! You even made your daughter a pink one how cool is that? I think it’s pretty awesome you take your family with you and teach them fishing skills etc. and looks like you have a good group of friends to go fishing with.
Only thing I would add is dry fit everything before gluing up and stand with it to be sure it's the right height for you so you're not bending over at all. Then glue it all together.
Thanks for the direction! Im thinking of ditching the tee handle and cutting the inner pipe a little shorter to keep it from needing the screw. Any reason that wouldn’t still work?
I tried making it shorter with no screw to start with and I would bust my knuckles when I would push it down so I started making it a little longer and putting the screw in. That’s what I found but give it a try let me know how it works? Thank you and tight lines
LOL....on the beach you look for little holes in the sand near the edge of the water. Pump up quick on that then dump it fast onto the sand. Look for any shrimp you captured and use those as bait for fishing. Its free fishing bait all day long with a shrimp pump. It also gives kids a fun activity.
Pretty good pump. I like to travel light when surf fishing. I always wondered why the shrimp pumps are Never built to serve as a rod holder. Just saying.
@@Bfishin Thanks for replying to my comment. I may try doing some experiments over the summer. I'll be looking for anythig interesting that might happen.

Nice job! I would probably use a coupling instead of a 5/16 screw as a stopper
Thank you and I’ve done that but it’s harder to take a part if there’s ever a problem but it works!

Now I just need to know what a shrimp pump is. Thanks UA-cam algorithm!
It’s a handheld pump used to pump mud and ghost shrimp out of sand and mud

You don’t put a stop or screw so the plug doesn’t come out the bottom when moving it up and down?
@@brandonmiller5116 no I don’t the male adapter stops it and haven’t had any problems.
Do theee pump work for worms? Cheers?
Yes I get blood worms and innkeeper worms and small clams, and other creatures to.
@@Bfishin nice! I might have a go
