You have a lot that is working really well about this series. One is that you are talking about things others haven't covered in theirs. You are keeping it relatively short, great production value (camera work, lighting, etc.) and really smart insights into the instrument. Your music itself is really good as well. You have a really good thing going here. Thanks!
i signed into my gmail just to leave this comment… please do more tutorials on model:cycles.. i’ve had this thing for a year and i’ve learned more from you then i have anywhere else. pls pls pls. and even if you don’t thanks so much for what you’ve already done. also the music u make is really really cool
You make my favorite M:C instruction videos, as I am very interested in making Ambient music. Great tips, thanks so much for sharing. Thinking I can use a lot of these tips, for my soon to arrive Elektron Syntakt.
So much sunlight while shooting today ☀️ I usually like jamming when it's rainy but today changed my views on that 🧐 Tell me how the weather impact _your_ music making! ☁️☔️🌈 👇
I was on the fence about picking one of these up until I found your series. Thank you so much for the awesome explanations. I hope to see more videos from you soon!
Very helpful mate some this will work on the model samples...I just bought one a couple of days ago and looking forward to adding it to the family 👌👏👏👏
Great video I just picked up cycles and had hoped to do alot of these kinds of things with it, aside from it be a drum machine. I really appreciate this series. Great work!
Fuck it I think I’ll get one. Was thinking I should splurge on the digitone to pair with my takt but this seems far simpler and therefore more like an instrument that will inspire. I tend to get bogged down in the minutiae of sound design etc in music production.
I’ve got a Digitone too and I find that it’s really harder to have fun with (jamming style), although it’s of course more capable (studio production style). I would start with the M:C as it’s also relatively inexpensive and easy to buy/sell secondhand 🙂
Thank you for all the inspiration and assistance!

i just got a model cycles in order to do some ambient pieces, and your videos are so informative and a huge help for a beginner like me lol thanks!!
2:02 can’t wait to combine that with per-trig chance, parameter and preset locks… this really opens up practically limitless patterns

Thanks a lot 🙏 I will continue as long as I have something to say 🙂

When you're setting length of track to 15 and 16 it's polymeter, not polyrythm. You can do polyrythm by setting scale to x3/2 or something like that.
is it possible to use this workflow on the model:samples?
Polymeter...............
