I love the lamps you saw at Goodwill
frogs are definitely an acquired taste, but so are unicorns. or "as my 12 1/2 and 10 yr old grandsons constantly ask "why do you only have old stuff, Loo Loo?" I love it because they are someones treasures from years past or family heirlooms etc. Plus I feel the things you collect are what makes your home unique to you

I love your idea of putting old family letters in the photo frames. When we were going through my grandmother's things after she died. there were a bunch of letters which she'd written (not sure how they came to be back in her possession though) and my mom wanted to toss them and I told her no, we were hanging on to those. She protested, saying they would be full of boring stuff like bargains she'd picked up at clearance sales or yard sales. I told her future generations would be able to learn about what interested her from them. And, well I like a good bargain, too, and here I am watching a video on someone who is looking for treasures at a thrift store, so we are pretty similar. I may have to use your idea , I have a wonderful packet of letters sent from my grandfather when I was a kid, which I saved for posterity.
That’s awesome! I love hand written letters, especially cursive! They are so pretty even if what they wrote about doesn’t make much sense! Lol

I love those frames with the oval metal inserts also. The only one I have , ironically, is one that has my Dad as a toddler in it too! I couldn’t believe it when you mentioned it.
My Mother-In-Law was a big FROG collector ! When she passed away my husband brought some home. They are outside figurines and sit on a stone wall in our back yard. It is okay with me, it reminds him of his Mom….I can’t say no…☹️ But no, not a fan of them! LOL!!!

Great finds! I too love that lamp with the white shade, it is gorgeous. I see the ones with green shades in my thrift shops but they are so expensive and I don't want green, that white is perfect. i don't like frogs either, but I love your sweet dog!

I love the lawyer lamp with the pull chain, I also like the sound it makes when you pull it to turn on. L. O. L. I thought I was the only one. You will get so much use from it. It will look nice in any room. Are the white rare?? I have only seen them in green. Thanks for showing Jackson hes so precious.

Love all that you bought, but put the letters and pictures together was the best.
It’s so funny that your store still uses the old pricing gun price tags. My store not only has big printed out stickers, as of recently their price tags have a security tag underneath of the price tag.

Your music is so so relaxing. I have always disliked frogs..I am scared of them. In high school we had to pass around a live snake..could do that but when it came to dissecting a frog I could not do…so you will be surprised I collect frog decor to make me less afraid.

Quick short. .we used to catch & cook frog legs. Once Mom was frying some & because the sinews shrank, 1 "hopped" out of the skillet scaring my sisters to death. I thought it was funny.
