The Mannion Clan - Dr Joe Mannion

Wonderful interview with Dr Joe Mannion who is an expert on Gaelic Medieval History.
For the greater part of Dr Mannion's adult life, he has been actively involved in historical research relating to medieval and early modern Irish society, with particular emphasis on political and social developments in the South Connacht region. This has resulted in the publication of the articles, books and book chapters listed below. Dr Mannion has lectured Dr Mannion is a founding member, chairperson and historian of The Mannion Clan Association, established to preserve, promote and perpetuate the unique history and cultural and archaeological heritage of the ancient Clann Uí Mhainnín or Mannion Clan of County Galway. To date, they have hosted six highly successful Clan Gatherings,with many more planned.
