- Second Holmes is a six-part BBC Radio 4 comedy series that aired in 1983. The show follows the adventures of the grandsons of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson in contemporary times. The series was written by Grant Eustace and portrayed Holmes as idle and easily bored, only doing any work as a consulting detective to provide Watson with material for the Sunday papers. Despite its billing as a comedy, the program was very light in touch rather than slapstick. The show starred Peter Egan as Stamford Holmes and Jeremy Nicholas as "Doctor" Watson.

Light hearted crime series makes a refreshing change from modern fashion for grim, gruesome crime shows.

Sherlock was obviously someone with Aspergers'.
It’s lovely to hear Peter Egan. He’s a very good actor and an animal saviour. A wonderful man ❤️🙏🐥🦭🐕
Son of Holmes!
Grandson of Holmes??
How did that happen?? 😮
Somehow Irene Adler and Holmes had a kid. And so forth
Impossible, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Dr Watson’s character sounds a bit too upper class, but since they are decedents of the original characters, so I guess some artistic license is involved.
Descendants, don't forget the "s". poor spelling lets you down as an ignorant commentator.
decent and descend don't have the same meaning.
