Careful Emmanuel. You're starting to enjoy an early access product... Also to get your FMS AUTO back, press the standby nav twice, and you will see the option to turn it on or off in the bottom right. Also in ERJs after Flap 3 you just set landing flaps. Skip 4 if landing 5. Skip 4 and 5 if landing Full.
I flew from Prague to London city just to get a ride on an EMB-190 and it was AWESOME. You could feel the buffeting when the speedbrake popped up to help the steep approach. Very cool.
Hey great video - just FYI, the Manifest on the EFB calculates you a FLEX value and derate (TO1/TO2), which you can enter into the TRS page on the MCDU prior to takeoff :-)
Amano, I know how long it takes to create a UA-cam video and I appreciate your efforts so much. As a 25-year sim pilot; I’ve learned more from MSFS in the last 2 years, than the 23 before and it’s thanks to videos like yours. Anyway, to my points on the FSS EJET's. I’ve bought both packages, costing me £49 in total; money I do think I’ll gain value from by the end of 2024 but for now, this virtual aircraft and publisher is so frustrating! My EJET’s fly very well after a clean install. But come out of your flight or reboot your sim, and the EJET’s fail to load. The GPU is connected, but the cockpit will not come to life. I hear the various noises but zero displays light up and when I try to light up the APU, the switch just sticks on START. After uninstalling, then reinstalling from Contrail, the aircraft flies beautifully, minus the lack of a decent MCDU, VNAV, LNAV etc. The FSS support is slow and simply not very helpful. They clearly store config files outside the sim and their main folder but where I’ve no idea because I’d really like to do a complete uninstall and a proper reinstall. I understood the negatives when paying for both packages, but this company have spent all their efforts on producing a beautifully muddled aircraft, taking our money but I can’t even load the aircraft without a fresh install each time I ant to fly. I just wish they’d spent more time completing the ERJ 170/175 before producing another half-baked product that has way more issues than they’re admitting to when taking our money. My conclusion - the FSS ERJ’ s have so much potential but there are so many issues with the virtual aircraft; I can’t recommend anyone spending their hard earned cash on it.
I have the E-170/175 package, I do like it and the progress is encouraging. However I do resent paying £29 for the same aircraft, again, with essentially a longer fuselage. So personally I'll stick to the shorter ones. Good video as always, meine herr. 👍
@@A330Driver Well, what a shame after the money it is worth, it's horrible, shouldn't they release this plane and on top of that for 40 euros it's very expensive, when will the VNAV and the FMS be available???
I noticed you throttled up the #1 engine when making that tight right hand turn at LCY into the stand, sort of like torque vectoring the engines. I’m curious, does that work in real life in a measurable way? Great video. I agree that the FSS Embraer package (170/175/190/195) isn’t ready for prime time yet, but it’s far enough along that it’s enjoyable to fly (although it’s quirky and unpolished and buggy which makes for a challenging and unpredictable experience)!
You took the wrong taxiway (Y) in Rotterdam. For departing from Rwy 24 you need to follow Twy N, otherwise you run into arriving traffic leaving Rwy 24 and heading towards the apron. Have a look at the ground movement chart.
Literally who cares! It’s a flight sim (GAME), thus you can do whatever you want. I swear you pedantic flight simmers are insufferable at times and are ALWAYS looking for mistakes in videos.
Any altitude above transition altitude is called a flight level. In the US the transition altitude is 18.000ft and thus anything above is called a flight level. In Europe TAs are usually between 3.000 and 10.000ft, depending on location and thus anything above those are called a FL.
The "wrong" glideslope indication you got right before the final approach was not wrong. Glideslopes also have wrong glideslope indications at multiples of the original glideslope angle, that may have been what you were seeing there.

What’s wrong with it? It’s probably just as good as the fenix a320 and better than the pmdg 737
@@coochieman7887how could this early beta addon without vnav be better than pmdg and fenix?
@@coochieman7887 not nearly. the in depth systems of both the pmdg and fenix are far superior. looking forward to the day where i can say otherwise :)
Enjoyed the video, learnt a few things, thanks

I actually flew this exact route, same flight nr too, last year. The approach into LCY was truly stunning
Great video - Landing at this airport must be challenging for pilots - E190 is amazing
Hey great video - just FYI, the Manifest on the EFB calculates you a FLEX value and derate (TO1/TO2), which you can enter into the TRS page on the MCDU prior to takeoff :-)
It also gives you a Trim setting for takeoff, too (TRM)
Thanks!
Done this flight back and forth every week for 3 months in 2019. Apart from once was only this westerly approach into London City!
I've bought this aircraft 3months ago, but really understand how to fly it only today! Thank you for your video!
Enjoy it
Brilliant video once again. I appreciate your hard work. Both entertaining and very informative.
I love those types of videos thank you for making such detailed content ❤
I once researched that BA Cityflyer has the Callsign Flyer.
The callsign for BA4458 would be CFE57H.
Thanks!
I was on a flight from Amsterdam to London city airport with the embrayer, pilots did a good job with the cloud ceiling with low visibility
I’m impressed with your landing! Any tips for getting the flare right? I’m struggling to get my FPM much below 300 at LCY in the E190…

Thank you! I concur with your conclusion, they have a huge potential, but it’ll be years of development time until that will unfold.
Does Autoland work yet ... or are they doing that with Vnav ?
Perhabs with the custom FMC? :-P
Nice sound of aircraft

yeah same, i have the 170. Like the pmdg, i find no reason to buy the longer version however i do think the plane is worth it.
Another informative video. Thx und tschüss
How can I make a DIRECT from the FMS because I select it but it doesn't let me do it, thank you sir.
You can't, we're a year past the release now but the plane still doesn't support this stuff.

Hello just a question. It is possible to do RNAV approach with this addons on this version?
Hi, no it’s not.

Would you take this plane on vatsim?

The answer can be found in yesterday’s video at the 1 hour and 24 minute mark.

R/t might be Rejected Takeoff. That is my assumption
Didn't I watch this yesterday?
Rather unlikely seeing I recorded this just on the day of its release
