Little does Chloe know, but she also saved another life. I work at a vet where a paralyzed kitten was dropped off. The vet was going to put her down, but she reluctantly allowed me to adopt her. I had recently watched Chloe's first video, and after spending time with the paralyzed kitten, I knew there was no way that I could allow her to be put down. Chloe was my inspiration. Being a poor college student, I knew there was no way for me to care for her like she deserved. Little Grace soon found a home with a woman currently undergoing chemo treatments, and it was love at first sight. They lean on each other for support and are inseparable. I thank Hannah for sharing Chloe's story because without it, I might have never believed that a paralyzed kitten could thrive, and thank you Chloe for saving sweet little Grace.
That is so cute! Bless sweet little grace and you for realizing that she could live and thrive. Tears to my eyes. 😭
I don't want to sound cruel but if the chemo treatment doesn't work then little Grace may be left without her owner in the future. You better keep in touch with the lady.

She can’t stand but because of the acupuncture she can move her legs. Even though she can move them, they’re not strong enough to support her body

I think having a paralyzed kitten would definitely be worth it even with the more care needed. Just imagine you came home from a bad day at school/work and you slump on the couch or a chair and you just see this little cat sliding towards you. Would definitely cheer me up instantly.
Outertale Napstablook you dont have time to go to school because the kittens needs help every few hours or so. Still the sight is amazing and those who do have that time to spare are lucky and angels for doing so.
Oh yeah. I would be allowed to stay home because I have a paralyzed kitten that needs to be watched every couple hours or so. Of course, I'm 3 years away from being the legal age to leave school. So I wouldn't be affected too much at that time.

You would think her fur would wear off on the sliding part or that her stomach would be at risk of tearing or bruising. Was this one of the cats they created back wheels for? Thought it was. One cat preferred the sliding to the wheels though. Watch cats on wheels.

She went zooming around her new home like it was nothing! You can tell she doesn't care at all that there's anything different about her, that's what's so great about animals.
I cried when I saw that Chloe had found a family. Bless her. She's such a little fighter and Hannah, you're amazing for being brave enough and caring enough to give her that chance. Oh and Andrew is such a softie.

I was so disappointed when Chloe couldn't walk and wouldn't accept a walker. But now it's so clear that she gets around just fine, and she'll have a full and happy and comfortable cat life. A wonderful story!

When Hannah mentioned some of the stipulations of the adoption contract I was floored. Do people still declaw cats? I remembered when I first heard about declawing I was all for it...I thought it was just like a cat manicure. It wasn’t until someone told me about how declawing was done I was horrified. With a little training and a good scratch post you and your cat should be fine...claws and all.

It’s rarer now that someone would have their local vet clinic “declaw” their cat without some physical cause-it’s against the law in most countries, being banned across Canada, and municipality by municipality across the USA are gradually refusing to allow vets to do it unless it’s absolutely necessary to save the cat’s life.
Unfortunately, they are still people who thinks their furniture is more important than a cat's well-being... Admittedly, I had my first cat declawed. That was +10 years ago when it was more of an "acceptable" and somewhat traditional practice in my family. I was not living in my own place, so I submitted to the pressure to have it done, and I was also not fully informed on the procedure, probably not wanting to think too much about it. Looking back, it's definitely one of my biggest mistake in life and I regret it everyday. I can see the consequences in my senior cat and can only hope he can forgive me somehow. Education is key and with modern social media, youtube, etc, I think it's getting through to people, but of course some are slower on the uptake. Old habits die hard.
I have recently adopted a new kitty for the explicit purpose of saving it from being declawed. The person that the kitten was initially meant for intended to declaw the little guy and I simply would NOT allow it. And really, it's absolutely no trouble whatsoever. A few scratching post here and there, the occasional nail trimmings and, as a bonus, losing some of that undeserved attachment to inanimate material objects, is really all it takes. Canada has banned the procedure in 2 provinces and I hope to see it becoming nationwide in the near future, the final nail in the coffin of this awful mutilating practice.
I don’t really think it applies to Chloe but I’ve seen people declaw the paws on legs that were paralyzed because the claw kept getting stuck on things. So more like helping the cat because it had no feeling.
We had to declaw our cats due to our housing rules. Our landlord wouldn't let up adopt cats that had claws. And if we did we were to leave. And at the time she owned everything in our home.
Beth Sue Why wouldn't you just choose to live somewhere else or not adopt cats? You are blaming it on a landlord, but these were 100% your choices. You didn't "have to declaw your cats", you chose to adopt them, knowing you were going to surgically mutilate them.

Chloe has opened the door for so many other kittens to find forever homes. It was destiny when Kitten lady and Chloe met. Both are an inspiration.
I literally cried during this, especially at the end. I’m so happy for Chloe, and Hannah has really been such a huge inspiration to me. It’s made me want to go out and help cats and kittens and I’ve even signed up to volunteer at a local shelter. It may not seem like it, but Kitten Lady has changed my life and I couldn’t thank her enough.

All animals are special and equality deserving of good care. And they will treat her good, there is so much rare and genuine love in that family, I sense it even trough the film. Also I trust Hannah.
My kitty just got that same fleece on a stick toy for her birthday. She LOVES it. And she was my bottle baby. She was found thrown out at one day old stuck in a gutter and terribly cold. I hand raised her and she's my little baby. She sleeps on the other pillow on my bed every night.
That's amazing! You're so kind and she's obviously a fighter. It always makes me sad/mad when I hear about people who find abandoned kittens (I own two that I found near a busy street myself), but the joy of knowing there was someone there to change their lives for the better always overpowers those feelings.
Mega Minx she is a fighter and has a set of lungs. Which is good because that's how she was found. :)

This was so emotional it really touched my heart. It must have been a really tough goodbye. I was crying throughout the whole thing because I was waiting for the good bye and plus I watched the other video too and I was crying too. 😢. I have had many had experiences with going to animal hospitals or others like specialists and everything so it warmed my heart when I found out there was hope.
I had to subscribe I am sorry I love how you care for the animals and you do everything in your will power to help even if it's just fleas but you still rescue them.

I have 8 rescues living with me and I would not trade the experiences and love they have given me for anything . Since my daughter passed away they have filled the void left by her. I'm 74 and have provided for them in my will when I leave this life if they outlive me.

I'm an animal lover who has been through losing two of my cats, one passed on and another I took care of until he could live for himself in the outdoors again. I know exactly how you feel, that strange feeling of happiness for your kitten yet you wish you could be with them forever. It's been about 5 years since and Chloe also has a younger adopted brother named Momo at this time (one of the kittens separated from Mama but was under quarantine, also fostered by Kitten Lady)

You are such a blessing. My daughter & I rescue cats/kittens also. We have bottle feed, had special needs, and so much more. It's a blessing to have these perfect angels in our lives. You just never forget how awesomely special you are Cat Lady.

its 2020...im watching the second chloe video... im 150 in and in tears bawling! i rescued my kitten recently during the pandemic and i thank god for people like you who took the time and effort and love and patience to do what you do.
Alot of people would euthanize this cat but Cat Lady gives them a second chance to live her best life with a loving family!
