bauer bucktool rikon 22 scroll saw arm release lever

let fix the Bauer, Bucktool and rikon 22 inch scrollsaw. the locking pin for the top arm is way to far away to reach. lets make a simple lever lever to make it easy!

Scott, Nice job of making and sharing my idea. Appreciate the shout out. Never occurred to me to use aluminum for the fulcrum point, but love your design modification. Didn’t realize that pin could disappear without the split ring in place either. Good warning on lifting that arm without a ring. Guess I lucked out not making that mistake 😊. Keep the videos coming and continue growing that duck army!

Im looking to buy this scroll saw everything is made just right except for that release pin. I dont understand why Bauer didnt just do this. Im just a short person and wasnt really looking forward to the calisthenic workout while doing my woodworking 😂🎉

You should sell these! I’m a new scroller and just got the Bauer saw recently. I really like it but as you mentioned, that pin is way too far away.
