I get like emotional when I hear this song as it is, and seeing all the people in the audience feel it increases that sensation. I am a metal head and this is one of my all time favorite songs.
Same. I'm into metal etc and never liked All Saints. But there's just something about this song that causes emotion. Do you have a reason? I don't. It has always just hit something in me.
@@ShowdownThe I think it just takes me to a few places and times in my life where I may have experience a special time and location. Summer romances, trips to beach towns, stuff like that. Song makes me wish I was there again but also makes me look forward to more times like that. And it just has kind of a magical sound. That "baaaaaa-baaaaaay" toward the end that Shaz does is my favorite thing that's come out of their reunion. It's like a little unexpected slice of pop perfection that I had no idea was missing from my life.

@@lance694 Its the whole thing actually once she gets to the "im movin im comin" with the heavy reverb and the energy and the first "yeah eh ehhh" it totally changes the song and how good would a studio version of this be!
@@tarync6539 somewhere along the way it seems like she stopped singing the "bay-baaaaay" part but kept the "yeh eh eeeehhhh" in it so every new performance I stumble upon is like a few of Russian roulette where I sit staring the screen, silently praying "come on Shaz, give us the bay-baaaaay" and winding up emotionality unfulfilled when it doesn't come 😭
@@lance694 Yeah she seems to do a thing with the crowd to get them going and it annoys me too lol her voice is so much better now than back in the day but i think part of it was nerves she always seemed a little awkward 20 years ago. Id love another solo career from her cause its such a unique tone she has ❤

I worked at Tower Records in Washington DC. We had a really sizable import section all merchandise ordered directly from Tower in Piccadilly Circus.
There was such a buzz over the day this single was released.
At this very moment I am posting my comment here I can understand what it was all about and still feel those emotions I did the 1st time I was blessed to hear it.
Mad love for everything these ladies have done but this is one of my top 10 songs period.
Quite possibly #1 of all time in my book.

i remember as a kid, was about 9 yrs old when this came out and my older brother whos already in college whenever hes home would constantly have MTV on the television lol and id get so upset because as a kid all i want is to watch cartoon network lmao but now that i am older, its really thanks to him that i was exposed to 90s and early 2000s music such as music of all saints... i love this song so much!
