Chiba has a very special place in my heart I have seen a documentary over Nihon-ji Daibutsu when I was a child I remembered I want to see it myself. Magical 😊😊
But when I visited the second time I found the most beautiful tea house in Japan below the Temple building with a small sign that there is a tea house.
The tea house has a creek or may be a spring in its garden so you can year the water in the background having a bowl of matcha. But what makes it magical the small Japanese Garden that does not mimic the sea and islands in the garden architecture because you can see the islands and the sea in the background.
My secret tip when you go there take your time for a small tea ceremony ❤️

Living in rural Japan, I loove roadside stations! It's always interesting to see what you can find in them. There's a public bath in one of the ones I've been to as well. Thanks for sharing this neat abandoned school one!

That aqua tunnel and the halfway stop was pretty cool ! Never knew about this until now. Kinda surprised no other content creators have covered this while in Japan. I love how Japan plans things out there for travelers and long drives. The roadside camping seems similar to how people do it in South Korea as well.

When I go to Japan, going on a road trip in a kei van is something I'd love to do! Although, I don't think they'd let a tourist rent out one sadly.
I can't wait to see what next week's video is about! And you're right, that foggy, rainy forest is very much a cozy aesthetic!

One time while camping I had forgotten a pillow, so I used a 1 quart soft shell canteen. It worked better than expected. Happy trails!
