Thank you for going into such a viewer-satisfying level of detail. So often build videos leave me wondering how some specific aim was achieved, but I find that you always answer my questions, if not at the moment they occur to me, then before the end of the video. I look forward to seeing part 2 of this intriguing trailer build.
Thank you Del. Lovely to hear from you again. I try to make the videos that I wish were already on somebody else's channel. At the risk of making them too long, I tend to err on the side of more detail (people can always skip forward) - as I would hate for someone to fail at duplicating one of my builds because of something I missed out. I think its important to leave some of my mistakes in the edit to help others avoid making the same ones. I'm looking forward to the ramp lift - as most of the work is already done for me and I know that the PiggyTailor mechanism works really well! 🙂👍
I agree with previos comments VERY bog thanx for the detailed videos of these conversions. I am my self in the game of making myself a mini flest of construction machinery. I got a bit stuck in the mack dumptruck, So i am exiciting för these converionvideos. Once again thanks a not for your great work.
The same back at you, sorry for the spelling at some Times. My phone kind of do not like english..Haha. I realy hope i get around to make some videos of my own soon. To here what you think. Keep them coming😉
Many thanks for your leg upgrade Looking forward to your updates on 6x4. As I hope you sell your 3D printed parts for steering and rear axle printed parts plus what motors you recommend keep me updated please thank you
Great stuff, "I take it you will be travelling light next holidays?" and noticed the "product placement a la ALDI". (Nudge, Nudge) LOL.(i use the pumps plastic pipe for extending HL RC Tank smoke generator so I can move them about the tank for better space utilisation.
😂 If I can find more uses for suitcase handles I expect that the whole family will get a shock when they try and go on holiday next! I like using stuff that is usually thrown away & plastic tubes and springs often come in handy! 🙂👍
I have countless modified Toys and RC models - a good proportion of which are already in the hundreds of videos I have already posted over the years! If you mean the just the Bruder ones, I seem to gaining quite a collection of these & once I've done the detailed truck build and the Volvo A60H, I'm probably going to try putting a number of them together in a running video. 🙂👍
Very nice. But I can not understand how you connected to just one remote. because you have the remote control for truck electronics, and now you have the trailer too. do you have 2 remotes?
Thank you! I was going to try and do this with a single remote control (this could easily be done with the old FM transmitters), but the modern 2.4gHz RC that I am using also uses the receiver to communicate with the remote (safety feature), so will not allow me to use 2 receivers at the same time with one remote. So yes I used 2 remotes. this also allow me to use different trucks with the same trailer. 😀👍
Expert detail and instruction. I haven't had much luck fixing components to plastic using superglue....even roughing up the surfaces before gluing. In fact I haven't been able to find a suitable adhesive for plastics. Any ideas.
Hi. Just been looking for your other leg convertion, bloody hel the price of them actuonix servos 127.**€/£$70.00 I'll give it a miss that's miles off what I can afford. Thanks all the same.
I know what you mean. The Actuonix actuators are really expensive. In the latest version I have replaced it with cost just a few dollars or pounds each - using 3D printed rams that I designed. I put similar ones one the ramps too. You can get a brief look at this towards the end of my most recent video that I published a couple of days ago.
Yes I did do the RC truck myself. Much cheaper than Tamiya. No painting required. It comes with a proper cab interior. And it goes with all the rest of the Bruder stuff - including the excellent Bruder people. I have since developed a 3D printed solution to this conversion, that I will be publishing parts for (for free) and doing a detailed build series. 😀👍
I would get rid those electronics and use only a rc winch remote control 🤗🤗🤗 thank you very much for your video sir 🤗
You are very welcome! 🙏🏻

Thank you. I've been wanting to do something like this for a while now. It does actually work very well. Looking forward to fitting the ramp lifts. 🙂👍
Good job 👍👍👍

Can you make a video of all your rc mods. I really wanna see them! 🚜 🚛

@@RCModders maybe the mods you like the most

I tend to use Gorilla superglue. The argos Guild (own brand) hot glue gun sticks all the plastics pretty well : www.argos.co.uk/product/8841106 😀👍

Hi there (ive subbed a while ago btw) did u RC your bruder truck up yourself? Is it much cheaper than buying a tamiya?
Thanks.

I have those on my Tamiya trailers. I expect that there are many ways of achieving this outcome. 😀👍
