Here's a cool tip, use a panoramic equisolid lens and set the "lens" setting from 10 to whatever focal length you want and boom! a fisheye effect, and depending on how you use it, the resaults can often come out more realistic then they were previously.
Iv been a blender user for 2 yrs I must say your doing very good if you learnt using blender only recently. There’s some ways to cheat to save polygons and memory usage for creating humans. Use an image plane and transparent the photo so it’s only showing the human. Also for water with the ocean, use a colour ramp connected to an emission shader that’s connected to a mix shader that’s connected to your Principal shader that way you can change the flow look and texture. Do some more work in blender love it !
