What an amazing video Joy! Impeccable timing too. When your mama spoke about the “original attachment” to a parent and then a partner I burst into tears. I lost my dad very unexpectedly 3 months ago and a “situationship” that lasted a year (pandemic things lol) just ended because he’s found someone else. It really is a survival thing, I feel like all my stability is gone and it’s terrifying. It would be so amazing if these q&a with your mom became a regular thing, it’s just so helpful and peaceful. Also I really wanna get into journaling and don’t know where to start, would be amazing if you did a video about that!

The hardest thing for me is that I had my first sexual experiences with this person and that now when I crave sexual satisfaction I automatically crave this person because I didn’t have these experiences with anyone else and I’m not at the point where I can imagine to want these experiences with anyone else.

I have a question for you guys: i am so very happy in my current New relationship. However, my bf's ex keeps messaging him and he just gives her short answers to be polite. I am not sure if i should tell him to Block her? They literally broke up a year ago and she is very toxic and wants to break us up and stay relevant in my bf's life. She does have mental issues- thats why he is so careful not to hurt her... What do you think i should do
To accept when she walks into your life with open arms. She will see your compassion and the wall shielding your boyfriend's relationship (with you).
Your focus is to your relationship (with your boyfriend). When strength is present within the relationship, her actions are futile.
