Tienes que hacer un close UP a las espigas y al hoyo donde embona cada módulo

Thanks for posting this! Looks like you solved the problem of keeping modules aligned and your set up and brake down are fast! Excellent job especially in N-scale! Regards.

What kind of materials did you use. Looking to get a modular layout started up.looked really lightweight and east to carry. Would fit what I am planning for myself.

Does the curved track between two of your modules cause any derailment issues? It looks like you did a really good job in keeping the curve smooth even at split between the two modules.
Im going to have to do something similar on my layout and would love any tips you could give me. Like should i lay and glue the track crossing both modules first, then cut at the split? How should i cut it?
    Thank you very much.
Also i like your computer background.

1.make your modules as squared and as flat as you can, joint them firmly but not permanently remember the whole idea is to take them apart so you have to come up with a method to do this, on my case I used dowels and bolts 2. Lay the under bed ( cork) or whatever you are using 3. Make sure that is 100% flat I will say 6 inches before and 6 inches after the split sanding is the secret 4. Lay your track normally but in the place where the split is going to be apply glue under the track and use extra nails to attach it also use a few nails as spikes in the outside of the rails....5. After everything is well dry and perfectly straight use your best saw or dremell tool to cut diagonally REMEMBER you only got one chance so mark the spot and go firmly at it do not stop or jerk to much while doing this 6. Either Enjoy or repeat steps 1-5 as many times as need it
      Good luck

Do you have a bill of materials used to construct this? I am interested in building a modular system like this.

    • @ac44000cw

I wish I have list of materials instructions and how to make them but it’s a personal project I built it without formal plans and I didn’t follow any standards

Awesome layout! Are the modules boards of dimensional lumber, or are they boxes you constructed? I see the alignment dowels, how did you connect them electrically?

    • @ac44000cw
      @ac44000cw  4 роки тому

I built The modules from scratch no following any standards they are 4 feet by 8 inches
All the electronics and electrical connections are very simple since the project was DCC
I sold it more than a year ago and I am currently working on another layout very similar but more advanced and with a lots of more fun stuff, like r/c cars animated dioramas and computer controlled
Hope that I have videos very soon to share with all the N scalers
