I’m glad you find this N scale stuff attractive, from O to N it’s a huge 😅😅 difference on what you can do when it comes to available space to build a layout
@@ac44000cw Definitely! My first train was a Lionel (of course) so I think the attachment to O is more nostalgic than practicality. I have about 2100 square feet of basement space and N seems a much better way to maximize all of the space.
Thanks It is black fine ballast I designed the mechanism with really no tolerance between moving parts, and the compartments are angled face down so they always empty completely
Hi there The answer is No I’m not a computer expert or DCC guru but as far as I know it is not possible to work any app without JMRI ( pc or laptop) because JMRI is the brain that executes all the commands from either hand held control, phone or tablet
I've always been an O-gauge guy but lately, thanks to layouts like this, N scale is starting to look very attractive. Good work!

Yes it seems that N or even HO it would be the right choice
Good luck and happy railing on whatever you decide to go with
Is it N scale or N gauge
great operations and i love your ground cover.
Thanks
Can you believe that the ground cover is just plain dirt from my back yard....
@@ac44000cw yes! i use natural dirt as well. it's the best!
So cool great video I’m definitely subscribing to your channel 😀😀😀
Very nice locomotive and the layout looks great also
Excellent. Love the N Scale modeling.
Your layout looks great, thanks for posting this.
Thanks for watching
Great Op's video, cool working coal loader. Bob
Yes it is really cool and you can spend hours and hours doing dumping coal very fun stuff
You might need to add some static weight to your cars to avoid the springy effect at 4:45 when the cars are empty.
Great idea
Fantastic layout, thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks
Great video
It looks like fun
One short horn is all stop, two short horns is move forward, and three short horns is backup.
Good to know
From now on I will include that in future videos👍🏼
Oh this is ‘SWEET’ ! Have fun!👽
Where did you buy the FXE hoppers? Did you paint them yourself?
Yes
Very very realistic....
Interesting and I subscribed that was cool filling the cars like the Real Deal.. id like to have that Engine Vary Sharp.!
Can you do a layout tour
I’m working on it
Good idea
Very nice
Very nice! Are you using real coal? And how does the valve work so that it doesn't jam?
Thanks
It is black fine ballast I designed the mechanism with really no tolerance between moving parts, and the compartments are angled face down so they always empty completely
Very cool.
What coal loader kit did you use?
It’s not a kit
I made it out of some HO structures it’s pretty much freelance or out of scratch made
Can the throttle engeiner driver app work without JMRI? Because am looking for a app contoller that I can run my DCC and sound locomtives if I get any

What is the app called?

Sweet operations I want to build a module so I can just do that for more fun👍😀
Thanks
I really recommend you to do it You will have a lots of fun built it and once it’s done that when the real fun part begins
@@ac44000cw i’m definitely going to build one when I’m finished with my layout for sure thanks👍
