On Victory Parade in London was every nation present - except one. Guess which :(
True - PRAWDA
Polska to najbardziej tolerancyjny kraj na świecie. W XIX wieku, kiedy Anerykanie sprowadzali do siebie niewolników z Afryki, u nas w Polsce, jeden czarnoskóry mężczyzna był generałem w wojsku. Nazywał się Władysław Jabłonowski. Pozdrawiam.
Murzynek
To prawda, że my Polacy lubimy żyć we własnej wyobraźni...Tolerancja?
No cóż.
Rzeczypospolita to hegemonia dwóch narodów, Polski i Litwy nad Ukrainą i Białorusią. You are a wonderful and sensitive woman. Thank you for your tears.

It was the most emotional reaction for this video I've seen so far, you must be very gentle person. You are right, because of the difficult history we became brave and unified when the state is in danger. Now Poland is safe, convenient and beautiful country so you will have plenty of fun travelling and visiting stunning cities and nature.
Kochamy polskie miasta i miasteczka. Ich unikatowy klimat, architekturę i mieszkańców. Lubimy swoje rodzinne miasta, miejsca, w których spędziliśmy dzieciństwo. Kochamy miejsca, gdzie mamy przyjaciół i te, które rzuciły na nas swój czar.

Poland had no choice but to fight. As we are like wolves, we bite when cornered.
We had choice , simply give/sell all jews and live under germany/russian occupation as second class citizen (technically it a choice ) but well
ending of video answer it best "we do not beg for freedom , we fight for it"
God bless you
Generally speaking, I will tell you that Poles often quarrel with each other, but we have never lacked great patriotism, it has always been our country, all the people living here are united by one enemy, and we have always managed to cope in critical moments. We fought against two superpowers at that time, we survived, we disappeared from the maps for 123 years but we came back. It's worse with us than with cockroaches. XD You are doing a very nice job, I hope you will visit our country one day and eat Polish dumplings. Among other interesting historical things, you can read what Poles did in Haiti. Warm greetings from our beautiful country.
Thank you for this emotional reaction. It means a lot for us to see people from other countries get to know our history :)
Napoleon said… If you think something is impossible. Give this topic to Poles, they will find solution very quick
Poland fought for freedom 43 times between 1600-1945
Probably more. Poland became a country In 966
And I love You for this video for the good word of my country and thank You max respect God bless You.👍👏👍
this is a history of our grandfathers and great- grandfathers. Nazis hunted down civilians, my own grandma managed to escape from such a hunt ("łapanka") to the nearby forest saving her live, while others were sent to Work Camp. the other grandma survived a Work Camp and grandfather was sent to Germany for the slavery work in the farm. Therefore we shall remember those daily heroes who suffered but nonetheless, did not give up. And learn from the history, so such a tragedy should not repeat.
One additional thing
It wasn't thousands that was a millions .. around 6.000.000 people lost their lifes
I recommend the BBC movie "the bloody foreigners"
Yes over 15% of our population die in WWII
Hi. Thank You for your reaction. Best regards from PL.👋
Excellent video! In 1940 Great Britain stood alone against Nazi Germany. Hitler was determined to destroy Britain. The British Royal Air Force and Navy Air Arm fought against large scale attacks by the German air force. Many Polish pilots volunteered to fight with the British against the Nazis in the Battle of Britain and were some of the most successful pilots. They were instrumental in Britain’s victory.

Poland was not on the world map for 123 years and we still exist because we will never be defeated

W wolnym czasie try to this: Bloody Foreigners: Untold Battle of Britain, ale polecam Ci również inną, niezwykłą historię z naszej historii. To jest opowieść o jednym z najsłynniejszych z naszych (submarines) okrętów podwodnych! ORP Orzeł. ORP means Polish Republic Ship ORZEŁ (EAGLE). My, jako Polacy pamiętamy poświęcenie US w WWII...
Thank You for reaction. :)
Thank you for this reaction and for the tears! Even as a polish, just watching even reactions to this, it very easy do become a bit desensitized to the tragedy that happend and not that very long time ago and thanks to people like you, i started tearing myself.
Sadly this is our history, recent history. But i can proudly say not only past 100 years, poland and polish people were fighting for hundreds of years and our current freedom had to be fought for, but no matter how many times we lose, we are betrayed and so on, we will prevail :)
Poland has not actually been truly independent for many years.
The first partition took place in 1772, the second in 1793, and the third and last in 1795.
The partitions involved Russia, Prussia(later Germany), Austria and the Habsburg Monarchy.
Each sought the annihilation of the Polish language and culture. Poland regained its independence in 1918 after 123 years.
In 1920 Poland was attacked by the Bolsheviks(Russia) who were going west with the revolution. However, the Poles stopped the Bolsheviks in the Battle of Warsaw(miracle on the vistula) one of the most importnat battles in history of mankind.
The peace lasted only 19 years, until 1939 when the Germans invaded Poland on September 1 without a declaration of war. 16 days later, Soviet Russia followed from the east on September 17. The war end in 1945, Poland lost about ~20% of its population, many cities were completely destroyed.
After all Poland was not invited to the victors parade of WW2. 1945-1989 were the years of communism, Poland was a satellite state of the Soviet Union. In a nutshell, everything was decided by Russia, freedom of speech did not exist, revolts were bloodily suppressed and jail for criticizing the authorities.
The country did not develop there was pervasive poverty. In 1993 last soviet soldiers left Poland. In 1999 Poland joined NATO, is the seal of the waning Russian influence. According to many, this date marks the beginning of true independence, that's 25 years to this day.
Go to Poland we will love difriens and respect that. We in history really saffer and save this Europe same time and get .. discrimination. Thank you for you and undestangin
its always nice to see foreign ppl to reacts to our history, but it seems strange (strange doesnt mean wrong)
I'm Polish and once I told my friend how after WW2 my grandma had to wait in line for bread at 2am at an almost empty shop and that Poland was betrayed and given to the USSR but my friend who is British simply said that I'm ungrateful... but that doesn't make sense, ungrateful of what? betrayal?
Yes this is correct in history of Poland
As a Pole, I suggest you watch a video called Bloody Foreigners: Untold Battle of Britain

This story is unbelievable, even unreal, but true. True, but hidden by many nationalities. However, this is not a script for a film intended to arouse sympathy or tears from the audience, but the truth that shows how demonic and dangerous it is to divide people in terms of race, skin color, better and worse, etc.

Poland has a very complicated relationship with its neighbors. In 1683, the Polish king at the head of the hussars saved Europe and Vienna from the Ottoman army, and only in 1772, 1793 and 1795 our "dear neighbors" tore Poland to pieces. During the 123 years when Poland was not on the maps, they tried their best to erase any trace of its existence. When Poland finally regained independence in 1918, it took 21 years to create an army which, despite its defeat, was seriously affected by the German offensive in 1939. During the "Battle of Britain" Poles were a serious asset to the allied forces. Unfortunately, after the victory, they were refused participation in the Victory Parade so as not to irritate Stalin and were sent to their homeland occupied by the Soviet Union because "they were no longer needed." Many Polish heroes fighting for freedom died at the hands of communists after the end of World War II.
you are very emotional❤️
Reason for war in 1939 was one, one small person who wanted to rule whole Europe.
In 2023 Miedwiediew said that goal for "russian special operation" is "Eurasia - from Lisbon to Vladivostok"...
Just share this knowledge with people in your country. :) thats enough for us

Btw : Poland lost its independence for 123 years due to three partitions carried out by Russia, Prussia, and Austria in 1772, 1793, and 1795. Poland regained its independence in 1918 after the end of World War I.

Everything you see in the film about World War 2 is true, in the West they don't learn about it in schools. They have no idea that after 1945 Poland was not free at all, but was occupied by another Russian occupation.

5:11 besides, all the fighting countries and nations were invited to the victory parade, but we were the ones who were betrayed by politics for the blood shed and everything we did, but now, when the hour of trial would come, I think that once again, Poles would unite and this time they would not allow this turn of events

Honestly, it isn't the fact that people are feeling sorry for you what had happened, it's for the fact that people are saying that it didn't happen and that pisses me off the most. My grandfather fought against the germans in that war and he gave up his life in that fight, but ignorant people still say it never happened. I just want you to know that I don't feel sorry for you, I am proud of you for fighting back and never forgetting that this is part of our history and it should never be forgotten.
❤
We have still same problem - why USA didnt help Poland when we needed help... Nazis almost destroyed us 😒
If Russia attack Poland in future, will USA help us?
GERMANS almost destroyed us.
I have a story from that time, that ended rather well.
My Polish Grandma was very young then, and she was almost raped one day walking around the town(I believe Lviv, now Lvov, Ukraine). She only escaped the soldier pursuing her, because a family of jews that knew her quickly opened the door and shoved her inside before he ran around the corner. Funnily enough, she used to covertly buy pork products for him as a proxy. They were good to her, and he always let her keep the change.
Now, IDK know if it was grandma, maybe great grandma, but i believe it was the former.
At the time, the "still just a girl", now worked in nearby Czechia for a different jewish family, she was honest, and looked after them and their things.
She got together with a Czech, and they were about to be married, but neither were still well secured financially at the time.
As she was deciding on how the imminently simplish, "poor" ceremony would go, they were like: "About to marry, yes? No worries. We will help you/take care of it", in a "come on, no big deal", kind of way.
To their surprise, not only was the wedding "covered", but it was beyond any expectations. She had a completely new dress gifted, and The couple got plenty of gifts, and got married like royalty, AND the family secured them a 6 horse carriage for the ride home aswell.
I believe the family´s surname was Huber.

They attacked us because Poland is the best ground plot on the Earth
5:10 do you want to know what happened here? and what happened was that despite all the hard work and all the power we had put into it, they betrayed us, they were afraid of the colossus with legs of clay, and only now it has come to light how the current Russia is built
Come to Poland, you will know the sad history of this country since 966 year
I saw your feelings about this film and I saw tears in your eyes, the history of Europe is not as simple as many people think in the world, but I must tell you that history should teach one thing - good and bad, and we in Poland are looking not only in our country for these good people, let history teach people respect so that people will never again suffer because of one stupid person

Greetings from Poland 🇵🇱
Rosje. Mamy naprawdę dużo bohaterów w naszej historii oraz fantastycznych naukowców. Szkoda że w szkołach np. USA nie uczą czegoś innego o Polsce prócz drugiej wojny światowej.
For those that dont know this the soviets attacked poland for 2 main reasons. First during the polish Lithuanian commonwealth poland was the 2nd largest county in europe only surpassed by russia. In the 1700s poland was incredibly powerfull and occupied moscow at one point. They were liberal for the time. They had a type of democracy, freedoms of speech, religious freedoms, freedom to practics science. Then in 1920 poland defeated the soviets when they attempted to invade europe after ww1. Stallin was one of 2 people that lead the armies and he was badly defeated. Stallin wanted revenge for these defeats especially the 1920 polish soviet war so he made a pact with hitler to destroy poland. Poles amd soviets inly fought together after hitler invaded the ussr. And stalin thanked poland by forcing communism on them and arresting and murdering those people that faught alongside the soviets because he was worried theyd lead a uprising against Russia
We forget about history, or simply do not see the need to learn about it. However, it is in history that wisdom can be found, which perhaps gives us the chance to avoid further wars with tragic consequences. Looking at the current international situation, it seems to me that the world is heading for another conflict on a global scale. For now, we are making mistakes, we are putting interests before security, we are prioritising the piling on of differences between people over looking for what unites us - I don't know if we will have time to change this before it is too late.
POLAND 4EVER !!!!
My Dear, your emotions and compassion made my eyes teary.
