The frame is piece of art. Trickstuff brakes would suit great to the frame.
If only they would be available and affordable lol Would love Maximas on all my bikes
New dream bike. Acto5 P-train with Intend suspension and brakes 😮
As a german this makes me so proud
cool, you have some a good spec ext and hayes! some of the best. sadly down to sizing ill be getting a nicolai saturn st instead
Could you please share parametric cad model of frame
BDR!
mate, 5k eur for just a frame + shock which is 8325 NZD, pure insanity!. Can't comprehend that price. I thought my Pivot was expensive. Deviate offers a high pivot carbon frame for 4800NZD
its because your piece of pivot is manufactured in taiwan, deviate in I quote "asia", while this is machined in germany. Does that make sense now? My fkin asian clothes is a lot cheaper than the european made but I don't go crying about it over the internet, in particular if I am already willing to pay tons of money for something, I may as well pay a ton + few percents extra for my presumption of higher quality output and better paid less abused workforce. mate.
Any main stream bikes that compare? Thanks for the review, interesting bike for sure!
deviate has something similar, but it's not exactly a mainstream brand either..
@@UnicornBikes Gotcha. Thanks for that quick response. Lastly, what was the final weight of the bike after everything was built?
@@ShaftShackDotCom I don't have a scale... But if weight is at all a topic to you, maybe this build isn't it...
The Forbidden Druid, which I have still, is similar. Single pivot rear and HP with idler. In fact, Forbidden was the first high pivot trail bike. Acto5 is basically Pole + Forbidden with obvious characteristic differences. A very well designed and detailed frame any way you look at it, but that should be the case because it is very expensive. I def would love one.
Is there already a long term experience? I have heard that the derailleur hanger makes problems and is not very durable. Would you buy it again or recommend?
I haven't had any problems with it. Would buy again but in silver to prevent the grey spots in anodization after rock hits
@@UnicornBikes Sounds good. What about size? S3 sounds more like XL so from 186cm+. What is your inseam? Do you still get along with it?
hey what are the warranty politics?
How does this compare to the Kavenz you tried?
2 very different bikes. If I wanted to race rough tracks, I'd go with the Kavenz, but you can't really ride that bike on the flatter stuff here in Flanders. The p-train has way less travel so it also works for my local rides
Cool mec mais pk tu parle anglais alors que tu roule au bois des rêves en Belgique ?
Omdat er veel meer mensen Engels spreken, en ik geen Frans kan? 😉
What is the weight of your build?
Mate I don't mean it in any bad way but try to work on your footage quality and also on your skills. From a point of view of an experienced rider I can see a lot of rookie mistakes there and so when Im listening to you talking about cornering skill of the bike and I can clearly see that you are doing it wrong... it just doesn't seem too convincing. It sure has the potential, with some work, you'll get there but I believe a person should be able to push the bike to the very limit to be able to make a relevant review about it and that you are simply not capable of by far. Other than that thumbs up, I know how much work does it take to make a video like that so respect for that.
Fair enough. My riding is average on a good day lol
@@UnicornBikes ehh...don't listen to this guy, you don't have to be a pro EWS ridder to be able to differentiate and appreciate the subtleties of a high-end bike. It's just some arrogant snob jealous that you have something nice he probably can't afford ;-)
