  • A lot of bike brands are calling mullets "MX". But MX bikes have fatter rear tires. I decided to apply this MX style mullet to a hardtail mountainbike. Should you run mixed wheel and tire size?

Great Idea. Because it's mine too since I love handrail for it's simplicity and my friend bought a 27.5+ bike which has a 29er forkfrom factory. And i also saw ot on the motorbike.

I also mullet my canyon stoic 2 . Not bad . I run bontrager xr4 tires 2.4 front and rear. Thinking of putting hans dampf front and a 27.5 x2.6 vittoria mezcal at the back .

But my cornering tho, I always comment on people who look like they're having a poo on the bike, yet I do the same myself lol

Hardtail with a fatter tyre makes a lot of sense, but why aren't tyres taller rather than wider and taller?

Maxxis has a WT tire range which does the opposite of what you just described. Perhaps bike tires should list width and aspec ratio like car and motorbike tires do?

Hi, do you still have the P-Train? Any thoughts after owning for a while?
