As an optic fan lets be honest....this tier list is fair as fuck lol
I'm an Optic fan and completely agree, as frustrating as it is Ultra are looking insane atm. Faze are 2nd and Optic 3rd with a S&D struggle which they need to fix if they wanna beat either of the top2. It was still a good finish for them considering where most people had them finish, I had them finish 4th. As they say "Search wins Championships" so hopefully the boys put in the work to clean it up.

Most of their fans blindly say the team is the best no matter what, or get so mad they say they suck, it’s rare when they are objective.

Ofcourse it's fair it can't be any different when the results of the most recent LAN were a couple days ago, how can you rank teams any different this soon after a tourney, these tier lists need to be done before the tourney, this video should be called major 1 boston placings list because that's what it is
I am a huge OpTic fan, and honestly faze and ultra are just on another level as a team compared to OpTic. I think having an A slot is completely justifiable, if they could figure out how to win or close out on SnD, then it would be a different story imo
The listen in on Toronto is so calming. Lol. Scrap is the only one who kind of raises his voice but the other 3 are just so calm in the comms.

If shotzzy just starts to realize when to slow down at rat it up like cleanx, I think that takes this optic team to a different level, but that just IMO
he definitely held them back.. imo everyone else played their role well. even bruce was rotating well and getting solid hill time

After the Top 3 it’s all really subjective tbh you can tell Minnesota over achieved Ravens definitely should be high C NYSL more than likely don’t do that bad again so it’s really just a guess

Minnesota won 2 matches and got top 4 lol that's crazy. Cdl really needs 16 teams, 12 just feels so small scale and really lowers the competition.

Faze, Optic, and Ultra picked up the best free agents in the offseason. Ultra was the best of the three last year, then added Envoy which is the best fit. Envoy was on the last Optic/ Huntsmen team that I felt was in true contention for champs. Optic's team work doesn't seem close to Ultra's level. Thieves were scary with Envoy in Vanguard. Give Envoy his props, he makes teams better. Ultra may win every major this year, they are that good.
Win every major is crazy lol. Calm down, cod doesn't work that way they will randomly be trash at multiple events guaranteed. Nobody but Faze is not ass at at least 2 events. I predict Toronto place 5th/6th next event.
@@AVerySillySausageI honestly agree and I’m a HUGE Toronto fan but it’s so unrealistic to say with ease that they’ll win every event and that they’re unbeatable, it’s impossible lol however I will say they very well could be the BEST Ultra team they’ve ever had, would love to see them finally win champs but it all depends on the day how they’re playing/feeling it, look what happened last season in the final…

Weird thought, but I think if OpTic subbed Scump in for Shotzzy for a stage and they had two slower SMG’s in Pred and Scump, they would perform well and Shotzzy would see how to switch it up.

I’ve slowly starting to like the Gorillaz, diamondcon is becoming one of my favorite players, I like his back story and how he started to get recognized in bo3 but was to young to compete, so he waited and grinded and kept competing in tournaments until he was of age, bo3 was probably the first cod I was able to call myself good at. I grew up being a faze fan and even though optic is kinda their rivals I’ve always loved some of their players and play styles. Scump is probably my favorite player ever, I just love his energy and play style
Agree with most, but online I don't think the gap between NY and Optic will be as big, NY may even edge it. I think they had an off tournament.
I want both Breach and Heretics to succeed so bad, hopefully they get better in stage 2

Not at all what he said. Faze is not close to Toronto rn. The gap of faze and optic and faze is a lot closer than faze to ultra. The sad part is optic struggling is based around 1 thing. Shotzzy refusing to slow down for half a damn second and be a gunny. Faze have moments where they just refuse to win a single damn gunfight. Not to mention their hard point at times seems horrid. Can not set up a hill and hold it to save their life. Atleast not against good teams.
LAG has such a high ceiling, swap out Assault for someone like Brack and they consistently can compete for T4

There were so many times that on scumps watch party, even Hecz was telling Shotzzy to relax and play his life. If he figures that out, GG. If he doesn’t, I don’t see them being consistently better than 3rd best.

My take on the major faze did everything they could to prepare for optic and ultra did everything they could to prepare for faze i think games between ultra amd faze are gonna be a throw up this year and i cant wait for it

Because Faze were still finishing higher most of last year - optic can’t be in the same tier if they lost in qualifiers, winners and losers finals, to finish below Faze

It’s kinda wild to me Toronto win a tourney by only playing 3 teams lol. Can we please get back to open brackets and pool play. Nothing taken away from Toronto because they dominated but still it doesnt feel right.
It's crazy that 3 wins gets you to the Grand Final, this is what happens with just a 12 team league, I remember the gauntlet teams had to go through at Champs pre CDL. My biggest issue is no 2 best of 5's in the Grand Final when it's meant to be a Double Elim bracket. So the team from the winners bracket only has to lose once where the team from losers has to lose a 2nd series to be eliminated, makes zero sense to me. No proper advantage for Winners team.

Other than the bias take on Carolina even though they beat NYSL on LAN I agree with this list. If Optic cleans up their SnD & Shotzzy can heat up this team has championship potential.
Afro is amazing at snd
If optic can just fix their snd issues where they rely on world stars. Then they will be competitive. They have a GREAT snd. But they just rely on solo plays and it loses them crucial rounds

I think LAT needs to switch out Afro for an entry SMG, somebody more aggressive who can be the first guy in. Afro and Joe have the same playstyle, they're basically the same exact player just Joe has performed slightly better. Afro is 50th out of 50 in damage per 10 minutes in Hardpoint and Joe is 40th, you just can't have both SMG's in the bottom 10 in damage per 10 minutes. I know Cammy gets all the hate because of his KD but he's at least shooting people and it seems that he's the entry which makes no sense considering he's an AR. I think with an entry SMG added in then Cammy and Joe's stats will get better and better. I think Afro is better than he's performing but even in control which is their best mode, he's still least damage per 10 minutes. Maybe a two man change is needed but I think they just need either Afro to be a selfless entry SMG or a roster change getting a selfless entry SMG in Afro's place.

Sorry im late. Im was busy missing the grand finals of the event and co-hosting the flank because my wife told me im not allowed to. Unironically the same reason I retired is the same reason im limited to certain aspects of life now. I fear that a life consisting of such trials and tribulations will eventually wear thin once the luster of young love wears off.

NYSL with Priestahh would still be at least S with FaZe, Pdawg was glue. I’d even argue FaZe is split between Z and S leaning toward Z.
I think the only issue with this tier list is Vegas aren't that bad. They have been up on OpTic, Miami and Ravens. All considered better in the rankings. I would put them B or C. I think they just need some ice and they could easily be a top 6 team. Drop Purj for like Brack, Kremp or Beans and they could be a top 4 team with NYSL and Seattle struggling to find their success. Even Seattle could be better if they swap out Arcitys. He looked better in their wins but he played terrible in their losses. Pick up Asim for Arcitys and put Abuzah back to AR
not sure who needs Asim, but he needs to be in the league ASAP. dudes been absolutely frying in challengers. If anyone comes back it should be him

Seattle in B and Vegas in D is something I disagree with since Seattle struggle at respawn way more then Vegas. Vegas only problem is closing out series it’s not they aren’t getting blown out in their loses compare to Seattle who can’t win a respawn and are getting blown out. I would put Vegas in to top of C now since we have seen Nero and attach staying consistent on lan and move Seattle to top of C.
Its not just series though, they have had the biggest comebacks against them (so far) in games as well. They have an ICE problem, and thats something that comes with time, not with scrimming. Hard to build ICE when you are overall outclassed across most maps/modes. D makes sense imo. But, 3 reverse sweeps in a single season? In the first major/quals? No. They are dog shit.

Vegas. Moreover in hardpoint lag lose by 100+ 3 time while Vegas has lost once by 100+. Outclass in every modes is false how are they outclass when both map 1 and 2 for them are 55%. While Lag map 1 and 2 are below 50% and Seattle map 1 and map 3 are even worse. 3 reverse sweep is bad but they are able to put them in winning positions while Seattle can not since they are ass in respawn and Lag being ass in snd.

In a league with FaZe, Ultra, OpTic, NYSL talents, they are outclassed. Even 1-1 skill against Seattle, Alec is playing better than Purj man. Overall team is just better. Shows in their records. Vegas doesn't have a mode they are dominant in, like some of these other teams. LAG/HPs, SEA/SnD, etc. Whats Vegas' mode?
Overall, they are bottom of the league with LAT, and its sad because they have phenomenal ceilings, but stop dick riding and realize they are dog shit man.
As changes sit, Purj needs to go and hopefully that helps, but man, its looking like they are gonna get a bottom barrel player unless they snag one getting dropped from another team. (joe or Cap) you are rolling the dice. Team still falls into the no ice category with no mode that they are great at until proven in matches.

I feel like Arcitys needs to be benched as a wake-up call. Ever since he became the highest paid (in like 2021), the man has just been on a solid downward slope. It's sad to see, but i think he needs that wake-up call so we can all get CW Alec again..
I think saying optic got the shit beaten out of them by faze three times isn't exactly truthful online yes and if you want to say the last series I guess I could see it. Splitting hairs I know but the second series first on lan was really close and back and forth. The last series could have been a good one if optic didn't scam the HP's.
That's just his way of saying faze clearly beat optic so far this year and should be a tier above. I don't think anyone's gonna say faze absolutely dominates optic.

I know Toronto was obviously the better team but like if faze holds p2 on skidrow and karachi....faze is up 3-1 in the grand finals. Its not an excuse for why they lost but more of that fact that it shows how 1 mistake can cost you a map, even a series.
How can you do a tier list days after a tournament has finished, the tier list is literally who placed at Boston, you should do these before events not after because the results of the matches is literally the tier list
