Lost Media with Cult Followings (Vol. 2)

- I usually focus on the more upsetting idea of media being lost forever or the overly optimistic view of media that was recovered, but in this instance, we examine the lost media with cult followings that has yet to be found but still has a high chance of returning one day. From Liam Gallagher's choir boy vocals to a CGI cartoon about fictionalised news events, these pieces of lost media with their own little cult followings could very well be found one day. Hopefully this will spread some awareness for discovery.

Your recap of the deleted scenes for childs play was spot on. Tom Holland has suggested he has the OG cut. Seeing as how Amazon owns the rights to that film now, let’s hope that the deleted scenes will someday surface
Can Oasis already master Liam’s version of Sad Song because daaaamn. Good vid btw
I believe a 'lost' explanation for Sesame Street episode 847 being so scary to kids is not just Margaret Hamilton being that good - and she was - but something far simpler. Kids of that era would have been watching The Wizard Of Oz as much as twice a year during CBS holiday (Usually Thanksgiving and Easter) broadcasts of the classic. In these times, no DVR, no VCR's, so when an event came up, you watched it then and there, and all the kids I know always did. To them, it would have seemed like the scary lady from the movie was now menacing Big Bird et al. A dose of magical thinking, and an excellent actress would have had more impact than anyone could imagine.
Have you ever tried covering the 2010 child play reboot that never saw any light?
Really underrated stuff, keep up the good work
Me as an American in my 20s when Oasis was everywhere, listening to them now for nostalgia sake and realizing that I still find the vocals grating.
9:46 Chucky’s face has scars in the later films due to him getting chopped up in the fan in CP3 also not to mention Chucky’s final words in the first film are actually “hi I’m chucky, wanna play” instead of “I love you, hideho hahaha”
I never said any of that. What I said was that him winding up scarred (REGARDLESS of the reason) probably inspired them to use the idea to get scarred in later films. And he says "I love you, hid-e-ho, hahaha" in the ORIGINAL ending, NOT the final one. That's what I'm talking about in the whole video. The DELETED scenes, not the FINAL scenes. Remember the whole part where I talk about Chucky's original voice actor? Why can't you just use your fucking ears?
@@AstileDohertyProductions No need to be rude in your last sentence, geez. They were just pointing some extra details out 💀
@frostheart88 they were pointing things out that didn't need pointing out because they didn't listen to what I was saying. Not my fault 💀💀💀
@@AstileDohertyProductions no, I was listening. I was comparing the original script to the final script we got in the movie.
@maossauceacre07 if that's what you meant I genuinely apologise. I think I misread your comment because I'd just had another comment calling me a terrible fan etc. because they clearly didn't listen to what I was saying. Apologies again
Nice one
Was that Boards of Canada in the intro? I got this recommended on my front page and I am already intrigued
;)
I hope u get found this is really good.
Do more airline vids!
i thought the guy in the thumbnail was damon albarn of blur and gorillaz 💀
Blasphemy
they look nothing alike😭😭
Chucky’s scarred looks is cause by drain-o?
That makes no sense.
Tiffany had to stitch him back together after three movies.
Child’s Play isn’t a cult favourite either it’s a well known movie.
You’re a terrible fan.
A cult status isn't necessarily defined by whether something is super well known or not, more so if it has a certain appeal and is strongly followed by a certain group of fans (cosplays, discussions, morbid interests, etc.). Also, I didn't say that. I just said that him being scarred possibly inspired how he ends up being in later films as a reused idea. And I don't care if it makes sense or not, I'm just telling you objectively that's what happened in the original scene. You're a bad listener
