Whenever I see John Travolta, I immediately
see him at the disco getting down to this song from the Bee Gees. Bet he wishes he could still do those splits he

Oh yeah! Went to the clubs in nyc in the 70’s. Always great dancers on the floor. Saturday Night fever a must see movie
Yes it was like that,I was born in 1960 every one of my Teenage years were the 70s absolutely fantastic (take me back and leave me their).
All I can say is... The Bee Gees 5 decades of music, made lifesoooooo worth living!!❤❤❤
The Electric Circus club in Dallas had a lighted dance floor like this back in the 70’s.
In the discos big time Yes Me Lol now 67 and still dancing ! Worked those places 6 days a week spent all my money. Owned the D Floor also went to dance comps it was insane!
Yep, real thing. That was Travolta dancing to the song in 'Saturday Night Fever'.
1978!!! Brings tears to my eyes! Oh how I wish I could go back in my little time machine and experience this one more time!
Only one on the floor dancing was called: "Owning The Floor!" I Loved Every Minute of It!!!
It was real,. I'm in Houston tex. There was a club called the dome shadows. The largest lighted dance floor in Texas in 70,s. On Sunday & we'd. Pay 5.00. & Drink ice cold draft beer all night free 👍👍👍. Good times guy .😍
Hell yeah! That had to be amazing!
Yes, I lived in Ft. Lauderdale in the 70's, and would go to the Studio 51 Disco, on Oakland Park Blvd. every Saturday Night, in my glamorous, Lincoln Town Car, with crushed velour emerald green seats, polyester outfit and disco music playing on my 8 track. Fabulous time everybody had a great time. The Gemini Room also had a fab, lighted dance floor with mirrored columns. I knew as a young man then that this incredible music and club scene cound'nt last forever, it was that phenomenal !
Yes, it was really like that. We had a lighted dance floor at the skating rink and I won a lot of dance contests there. Always loved dancing.
Oh forgot to mention, the disco footage is from the movie Saturday Night Fever. The male dancer and lead actor of this movie you see here is none other than Mr John Travolta!
I was 8 when They were major stars, but my mom, Aunt and their friends used to go out to the discos they were major stars, but my mom, Aunt and their friends used to go out to the discos, just to go out and dance, and mom used to say it was just like Saturday night fever and it was just fun to watch everybody go out and dance and have a good time
In the 70s I remember going to bonfires in a field...and dancing my ass off! Wonderful times!
It was just like that - PARTY!!! So much fun - everyone danced with everyone 😍
Yes! It was exactly like that!! Unforgettable! The energy was unbelievable!!
It like That and more fun fun I wish you where there
It was just like this, amazing ! Go Bee Gees!!!!
Love the COW BELLS!
Hell yeah man thus of us who danced well we would push in and spread out. No one got mad it was fun as hell I enjoyed my disco time at the disco tech
HBO original presentation of The Bee Gees How Do You Mend A Broken Heart is an absolute must see! I loved it so much that I bought it and I watch it regularly. I was raised with their music. My parents loved their early music. I love all of it! You have to see their documentary. You’ll love it!
OMG THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!!! LOVE THE BEE GEES.
We had lighted dance floors and spinning mirror balls and flashing lights at the disco clubs where we went. (Even in the small town I was born in.) And we never saw any fights. (At least I never did). I moved to Florida and found a similar club. I don't remember anybody being concerned about someone spiking your drink, or being out with the girls. We felt relatively safe. We listened to the disco music and danced. It was a lot of fun. Now those clubs are all gone. I remember KC and the Sunshine Band, A Taste of Honey (Boogie Oogie Oogie), and so many others. The Bee Gees were at the top. I still love all those songs.
Night Fever
When I watch Travolta dancing in Sat night fever, I wonder how his knees are feel right about now…😂
As a kid in late 70’s I couldn’t dance but I sure could skate ! at skating rink was best time to role with The Bee Gees jamming on speakers !! Oh yeah better with disco ball rollin Lol !!
More props to the 4th brother Gibb Andy forever
Music you can actually dance to ❤️❤️❤️ Maurice, Andy, Robyn and Barry
They put out so much quality music over so many genres. Never get bored with Bee Gees. Noone else compares imo.
I love that I still have so many songs to explore!
@@Texas_Love If you are truly interested, I have a ton of stuff I can share. Just an offer.
Could not agree more.
During that period we were for sure doing that! I mean you brought your game when you hit the floor.
Saturday Night Fever
Andy is inthe this one love. My first celebrity crush.
The youngest singer on stage is the little brother Andy. His voice was as perfect as his older brothers. Great reaction to one of my favorite bands!

How could you not dance when music like this was playing!
The best times ever were disco night unbelievable such happy times wish I could go back
I loved growing up in this era. These guys could sing and boy would we dance. They are amazing live..no auto tune just pure harmonies. I love that their baby brother Andy was in this vid with them too.
Great reaction I grew up in the Bee Gee era even before they got into disco GREAT TIMES. good memories still have there vinyl records
Thanks
What I loved about Maurice is when he said, "I'm the Baldy BG!" He embraced his hair or lack-thereof. Yes, it was common to be in clubs with disco music. I was in my 15 - 25 yrs. old age range for the 1970s. I didn't do the club scene, but I liked the music.
Absolutely!! It was soooo much fun! You literally danced all night - mostly couples and the good dancers found each other - you’d watch to learn more moves. Everyone danced to Bee Gees songs - you had special dance moves for them - we never thought it would end so abruptly because we had the best time!!
Really miss this....
Great reaction, I had forgotten what a great dancer John Travolta was. Amazing thankyou
It was a magical era that I only wish my kids got to experience,I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
The dancing was John Travolta. Yes, the disco era was like that.
What a great reaction to a fantastic song! That was John Travolta dancing his ass off in the video by the way. :-)
Thank you, our boy John had some serious moves!
One of my favorite Bee Gee's dance songs. You are fun! Thanks for that, memories. I was 12 when this hit, Andy Gib was what 18? 20? Lol.
Yes it was like that...dancing till the sweet dripped off..pure fun no crazy drugs just physically dancing till you dropped..GREAT TIME...73 YRS AND SND
I found your Channel looking for Bee Gees reactions!
My FAVORITE group since I was like 6 years old!!!!!! Got to meet them in 1990-so nice & down to earth!!! ❤❤❤
Everyone danced, every Saturday in basement homes kids would gather to listen to music and dance. it was a way of life
This was the best of times. Could hardly wait for Friday & Saturday night!
You’ve probably heard this before but that John Matua fight was so badass!!!
This was definitely a good dancing song.definitely remember this one ..makes me think of the movie Saturday night fever when John Travolta was dancing to this disco music..boy this definitely brings back memories ..definitely was like this I remember my cousins dressed like that going to clubs and they be dancing just like this I was only 5 yrs old when this came out but I do remember my cousins going to clubs getting all dresses up and they be dancing disco to this..
I used to go clubbing EVERY Friday Saturday Sunday Monday and occasionally Wednesday, never stayed in like they do these days.
They will make you dance in your chair when you can’t get up to dance. They will BLOW YOU AWAY!
They are so fun!!
Yes it was!!
Oh wow, I just noticed Andy Gibb! While Robin and Maurice may have been twins, Andy was Barry’s mini-me for real. So sad, but also great that you chose this video. Well done! ❤
I'm 59 years old, and still have the Saturday Night Fever album. I still listen to it, too!
Nice! Every song we have heard from it is awesome!
Staying alives best
They were in the middle of an album when they were called and told the idea for this low budget movie and would they write and record the song they said we can't right now but we have already written some songs you might like and they loved them and used them in the movie. Absolutely Dance clubs everywhere. Disco ball. I would live those decades over and over again.
I was a disco freak. I was hitting the clubs 3 or 4 nights a week almost at the cost of my job. 9pm to as long as it stayed open, often 3 or 4 in the morning. I actually won a dance contest to a song called "Get Off by Foxy". I was a DJ for a few years too and man is that a good time! Especially when you do a private event and you can literally make people get up and dance. When disco started dying off, so did a lot of my good times. Good to see you open your mind.
The 70s and early 80s was the shit.. !!!!
They were thrilled to have Andy with them that night. I guess Maurice (pronounced Morris) said to Andy as they were sharing a mic- can you believe this shit?!
Nice!! Lol
Your joy was barely contained, and yes dancehalls were very much like this, with all the colored lights and dance floors.Your joy is very much contagious! Loved your reaction once again! Yes, I've watched this reaction before and loved it so much I had to come back again!
Yes, it was just like that!! Clothes, shoes hair, bell buttons and all the discotheques all over, specially here in New York.
All over broadway and downtown.
You have to be a young guy that you don´t know these songs. I like youre smile listening to that groove.
Oh Andy is there if I am not mistaken!!! I danced that until my feet were so swollen had to take my shoes off !! The vocals are just awesome they are awesome love your reactions btw I was 16 then I am 65 do the math hahaha yeah it was loved it!!! Such energy in those times and when Travolta appeared well as you said before Game over hahaha even my mum loved them (especially Barry I was more of an Andy's girl bless his heart). Thanks for sharing this hopefully the newer generation will see and appreciate their talent.
