I wonder if Oda knows how much he means to us. How much his characters mean to us. If he knows that without him, his characters, the world he created, and the sanctuary he built for us, our own personal worlds might be a lot darker, as though the sun were gone. So thank you, Oda, for giving millions of people a sun, even if only just for half an hour at a time.
I bet he knows, it's not like he doesn't meet fans of his incredible story where they tell him how much One Piece has changed their lives, he's just amazing

I remember a story where he went to see a kid with cancer and he told her the ending to one piece per their last wish, and asked the kid not to tell anyone . The kid cried tears of joy and died a few days later what an amazing guy. “Edit.” (I made this comment a month ago and it has blown up completely.)

One thing I wish Oda does after the end of One Piece is retire. I don't mean this in a negative light, the man make made amazing work, but we all know how hard the life of a mangaka is. It is an incredibly stressful job of deadlines, reworking, editing, and reediting. After One Piece ends, I would be happy if Oda took his family on a nice long vacation. He deserves all the time in the world for some rest and relaxation with the people he cares most about.
So what you think the man's was gonna do?, I'm pretty sure he already planned his retirement lol

I’m happy and blessed to live in the same era as Oda. I can’t thank you enough for what your manga has done to my life. When I’m at my lowest point, ONE PIECE saved me. When I couldn’t hold on to my family for support, ONE PIECE was there cheering me up. I don’t care what people think, ONE PIECE is life. ☠HiKaRu❣ it’s just a rough front portrait of Luffy. For him it’s obviously something easy to draw. He does sketches for manga pages which are on another level of complexity.
True, it is skill. If you practice day after day doing somehing you truly love or something you're willing to accomplish it will start off slow but it will slowly progress into something amazing. That is skill. The ability to do something elegantly or passionately with a ton of focus with the intention of accomplishing something of greater value or importance.
