I am sooo shocked at the fact that one piece was the one that broke the live action curse, cause just like the dude said it's fkn BIG AND HARD! and most of the characters are GOOFY LOOKING, yet they managed to make a better live action than the aot live action that only had one season, when they made the live action of aot it only had 1 season so you'd think it'll be easy but nope! Completely ruined that aswell, but somehow the hardest one to be adapted somehow was the one to actually pull through and also pull millions of new fans! I was already praising oda for his good works, then oda was also the one to make the best adaptation, oda truly is a goat god

For people that didnt watch the anime or didnt read the manga, Live Action Luffy keeps repeating how he is a "good" pirate while in the anime/ manga Luffy doesnt care if someone thinks that pirates are bad, in fact, he constanly says that people should decide by themselves if he is good or not, so in the original Luffy cares even less about other people's opinion
Luffy anime actually cares in some things that convinced him, so more contractions there I think.

Yeah, they did everything so good I was very pleasantly surprised and the music score was soooo amazing it really added to the atmosphere. Even the ending music theme at the end of episode 8 was the opening theme of the very 1st season of the anime. Like the, dedication, the passion and the attention of detail is insane.

I loved live action but couldn’t get past first season of anime (although I watched Ace arc when I was a kid and cried)
The casting was absolutely perfect, even the younger versions. It shows why it’s so important to include the creator of the IP or someone who knows the characters inside and out. They see what maybe the show runners don’t and these actors really embody their character more than on the surface level.
