Here's why I have always been really skeptical about a Han Solo standalone movie; because Han Solo didn't get popular because he's such an interesting character. He got popular because Harrison Ford MADE him an interesting character by infusing him with a particular personality. Now, we're going to be watching another actor pretending to be Harrison Ford pretending to be Han Solo. I am not optimistic.
Jenny is at her best when she's impersonating wookies and rancors by waving her arms like a nutter and making guttural bellows.
Imagine her presidential election.
Ron Howard narrates the whole movie Arrested Development style. Also, Han and Greedo are friends through most of the movie. To show how strong their friendship is, Han says "I will never ever shoot you unless you shoot at me first." Ron Howard says "he would."
None of it feels contrived whatsoever.

Jenny is so spot on with her Solo predictions, it's crazy... Including them watering it down in the reshoots making it boring. Jenny is such a talent, whoever at SJ didn't allow her more creative control missed a huge opportunity. Her personal YT channel is so entertaining and I highly recommend subscribing to her Patreon.

The Witness ... The Force Awakens has not "Disney painted" a good "role father" where Han Solo is out with Chewbacca and separated from General Leia! There are many pre-EP VII questions rather than seeing who Han Solo was before ANH's "Cantina encounter!" Jenny is fun to watch. Not in the way that gets boring after 30 minutes but rather the type you can watch whenever you want. The games are genuinely fun to watch and it helps make things different. Also I love her personal channel.

I've never wanted to watch these kinds of sci-fi discussions before. But Jenny has great comedic timing, asks great, fun questions, and comes out of left-field. Love it!

Obi-Wan protected Luke while he was growing. Interesting story arcs could easily be set in motion that wouldnt conflict with the current canon. However, I dont know why star wars fans are so against a Han Solo movie. I couldnt even pretend to care whether it happens or not. But best believe Im gonna see it.

Harrison was 34 for the first Star Wars movie.. Alden Ehrenreich is only 26.. a difference of 8 years. So what are you saying? I think they got the age right. Too young and he wouldn't be believable as a working man - everyone would wonder where his parents are and why he isn't going to school. 8 years is plenty of time to establish his timeline with 3 movies before A New Hope.
tunareth 26 is still a grown man though. There's not even a 10 year difference. The whole idea of a young Han is just weird because we already have a young Han in anh and old Han in tfa.
I'm sorry to say, Jordan; Han Solo is a strong brand. It'll be milked proper and thoroughly. The brand has been bought to do just that. Doesn't mean automatically we're going to see a bad movie. The art is to score on both levels.

Ron Jeremy played Twitchy Cominhand on "Happy Sprays." Most people think he would have been better cast as Twitchy's friend, the Schlonze.

Also, I really hope there's not a Moment of Destiny where Han dons his black vest for the first time. Sure, to the audience it's iconic, but within the universe of the story, it's just a piece of clothing. If he wears it, that's fine, but it'll have to be pretty much incidental, without any hint of fanfare.
We all know how the young Han Solo film will end: 1977 Harrison Ford will sit down in a booth in a cantina as Chewie goes off to talk to an old man in a robe.

The reason why I'm against it is because nobody except Harrison Ford could ever be Han Solo. Imagine if they made a Titanic prequel and cast some unknown as Jack Dawson in his younger days. You see what I mean? Bet you can't picture anyone in that role other than Leonardo DiCaprio. Suffice it to say, this film will surely suck.

There’s a comic where Luke Skywalker uses his lightsaber to stand up to a Hutt who has a six-pack and a whole bunch of mechanical legs. It’s canon.
The same story arc involves Han, Chewie and Leia swinging lightsabers at stormtroopers.

the predictions for the dumb fan service they might put in this movie will end up being scarily accurate.... i have no doubts. wouldnt be surprised to see a boba fett appearance either so they can shove his face on pez dispensers and packs of broccoli and comprise of 90% of the marketing. the other 10% will be the falcon.

I feel like there is going to be a really awkward scene in the Han Solo movie where Han Solo just happens to run into (WHAT?!?!?!?) Princess Leia, and Han Solo would be like, "Hey! ....................................... Watch where you are going!" And then it'll just be awkward for 10 seconds so that everybody could process everything, and then they just walk away from each other.

CJ alicéa Lando is still a mystery, so that could work if written and directed right.
I would prefer a Lando movie just because he's a great character that we have gotten less time with him and I want him to he explored more
And Lando's story has not been told a hundred different ways in books already like Han's has.
A Lando movie could actually bring something _new_.
Hopefully Lando has a big role, and they can do a spin off of a spin off with him. I love Han Solo, but Lando has that 70s effortlessly cool style and I'd love to see him. He's such a product of the 70s/early 80s I wonder if Donald Glover can pull it off.
