    I seemed to have a number 6 plane type 5 or 6 the front of the frog looks like the 5 but the back looks more like a 6, also mounting surface is similar but not quite the same as rest of the 5 or 6 that you are showing. it is an incomplete plane but what I do have looks like is serviceable. looking forward to fixing it us so it can be used again.

    looking forward to the longer video as I have a No.4 that is a type 6,7, and 8. I'm hoping that the longer video covers the issues with the type, like the S in the base instead of a B which otherwise looks like a type 8 and a missing letter cast in the frog, my plane has nothing.

    My first planes was a type 3 No 29 that I got for 15 bucks. My second was a type 6 No 5 for 5 bucks. The No 29 still had a solid brass depth adjuster.
