I faced the same thing on Mt. Tam. Ugh… rocky and so many loose rocks. The trial I am talking about is Eldridge Grade Fire Rd. A real eye-balls rattler. However, the trail you’re on looks like an eye-ball popper-out!😮
It's fine on the mile and the trails on the Montara side. But trails like 911 are really bad, you can see in this video. ua-cam.com/video/Nvv99pMNTAs/v-deo.html
@@slowerwithdonuts looks like they trimmed it back on the Montara side which was nice. Wore long sleeves and socks and brought a change of clothes. Turned out fine!

Yea, the GoPro really doesn't show how rocky and steep the Mile is. I used to make it down without stopping; my goal is to get back to that.
Did you guys both eat it? I hate that trail!
Not to tarnish his reputation, but yes, we both ate it. I think next time we will do better now that we have a good line to follow.
@@slowerwithdonuts I went full send OTB 😂
You need to ride it more. It hone's in your skills!
@@singletrackbandit Yea I realize I need to add it back to the rotation. When I rode it all the time I never had problems.
How's the poison oak situation out there?

@@slowerwithdonuts will be testing it out tomorrow. Staying away from 911... I'm horribly allergic to it.
@@janmaly1591 hopefully you are able to avoid it. The whole area has it to some degree.

@@janmaly1591 smart, glad it worked out.
