The secret to staying married is to include God in your marriage, and keep him in it. Have a healthy relationship with him and your marriage will last. The reason a lot of marriages fail is because. They either don't include God in it from the jump, or somewhere down the line they stop including him in it. They start depending solely on the love that they have for each other, and the amount of time that they've been together. That's when the devil Creeps in and causes confusion, drama and trouble. Once the devil sees that God is no longer being included in the marriage that's when he attacks.
Not necessarily you dont have to be very religious to have a successful marriage or partnership. It definitely helps to be if you take religion serious but whats very important to me is communication and respecting one another

That may sound strange they don’t remember when they were married but I was married for 13 years before my wife passed but we had started our journey on my spring break in 1992. We said March 9 but we don’t know if that’s the actual date. Plus we dated briefly in high school til I did some dumb shit. I totally relate. We had our disagreements but we had rules. No name calling and don’t fight in front of the kids

I don’t take advice on marriage from people 10+ years older than me and been married 10+ 15 or so years. The dating, morals and values etc, were different back then especially before social media was a factor. Today is a different “today”
